i don't remember what state this court is in but on the west coast there is NO PLACE you can get a room for $30 a night even the worst roach hotel would charge more than that...(i.e. Motel 6 here charges $60+ a night)

For the vast majority of defendants, it's not their first rodeo... and this isn't a new thing. But yeah, it's getting worse because activists have taken hold of many parts of the judicial system, from low-level positions to various state's attorney general and beyond.

Consecutive sentences on misdemeanor cases are very rare in Michigan. I'm not sure if it's because of sentencing guidelines or if it's standard practice, but 93 days is probably the best Judge DiSanto can do based on the guidelines and/or court rules.
In fairness he said his grandmas in the hospital and his grandpa get paid for it.... When I think of my grandparents I think of them together I don't necessarily separate them unless I'm speaking about one particular grandparent.

Concurrent sentences are a joke ! Basically no punishment for multiple offenses.
I agree dependent on circumstances, like some crimes are just one big crime and should be done that way, but they get dissected into their base components, in those circumstances I understand but when uve got a whole bunch of separate crimes on different days, I see absolutely no point in doing those concurrently, different day different circumstance, separate crime

They're not trying to lock people up for longer than necessary... it isn't helpful.
Sometimes concurrent isn't too bad but consecutive definitely gets the point across.
Consecutive sentences on misdemeanor cases are very rare in Michigan. I'm not sure if it's because of sentencing guidelines or if it's standard practice, but 93 days is probably the best Judge DiSanto can do based on the guidelines and/or court rules.
