OK, I'm one of those idiots who waits until the the nine peaches I bought are ripe, and then has to eat them all in a day before they rot and become a fly circus, because, even though they are now inedible, I feel guilty throwing them out. But now I got it. Buy 4 peaches, put two in a bag. On day 3, take em out and eat em. Meanwhile, on day 2, put the other 2 peaches in another bag, and those'll be ready on day 4/5. Thanks Mike.

Paul Griffin: Check after 1 day, some ripen quicker than others. And unless they’re mealy, over-ripe peaches are great in smoothies!
After they get ripe in the bag Refrigerate them right away The ones you are not going to eat They will keep in this sweet state 3-4 days.
