    This is absolutely beautiful and the whole way you put it together is amazing.... Something tells me that this is going to take quite some practice, but I'm giving it a go. It's so feminine and elegant 😍

    I finally found someone who can cut this style without trying to be creative and point cutting it to pieces. I'm loving it

      Amazing! Yes avowing point cutting is very helpful 👌

      This honestly frustrates me so much to read. This haircut is SO easy to do yet so many hairstylists like to pull the “can’t” or “don’t know how” card because this haircut looks pretty bad unstyled so they feel the need to make it “wearable”.

      @@TheMillerFarmsometimes it’s because of the way the client explains it. I’m not a hairdresser but I’ve noticed when I show my hairdresser a vintage style cut or a real vintage diagram or say things in quarter inches back nape. Or whatever. They don’t get it. But most of the time a vintage haircut is litterally a high rise U cut that can be shorter or longer depending on what u want and how long or short u want it. And they understand. And it works great. I modify mine to my hair type. I ask for a high rise U cut ( for reference my hair is now just touching the middle of my neck. It used to be very long) with soft layers and some short curtain bangs. Because my hair is naturally quite curly. 3b I get bangs and layers to help out my hair when I style it curly. And a U cut for when I style it vintage. All of that combined. Is very versatile and lovely cut. Easy to keep too ❤

    Удивительно, именно после таких видео понимаешь, что все мы одинаковые, с одними и теми же ценностями. Несмотря на разные материки. У нас считается, что в США женщины не красятся, не носят каблуки и платья. А после таких роликов я вижу, что мы так все похожи. Все хотим быть красивыми и счастливыми. Осваиваю причёски по видео, очень все нравится и получается. Спасибо большое за эстетику. Ваши ролики очень полезны, они делают других добрее, понимание, что любая девушка может быть красивой.

    I just discovered your channel and I'm in love 💗 can't wait to try all the hairstyles. I'm just a little concerned because my hair is curly and it tends to get frizzy 😢 Any advice?

    • @mrstdupuy
      @mrstdupuy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Definitely set with a product. I use Lottabody or wella perfect setting spray. Make sure your hair is damp and comb smooth before curling 👌

    Do you know if its possible to do this without sleeping in the curls? Id be willing to add heat cause im hoping to do a pageboy style for prom and i already have insomnoa, adding more things to focus on isnt feasible for me unfortunately 😞. Love the tutorial though! Clear, brought us from beginning to end and very helpful! Might use this tutorial on one of my sisters dolls if i cant do so for myself cause she loves when i do their hair! :)

    You PERFECTLY encapsulated the style. It's interesting that an American is familiar with Diana Dors. This tutorial was easy to follow, well explained and it looks so wearable even if you don't want to go full retro. Thank you for the video

    Girl, I definitely can't sleep in pin curls. My mom used to make me try when I was a kid. NO WAY! LOL!!! That being said, yours looks amazing!

    The amount of time women put into their hair each day is remarkable. It's hard enough for me to take 45 minutes to blow it straight every 3 days. I'd love to try this though.

    • @mrstdupuy
      @mrstdupuy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You could use hot rollers or a curling iron but I think pin curls produce the most accurate result ☺️
