Tango Pointers: Paolo Bosco - Silvia Pitton

The 2011 PD World Champions Standard from Italy, Paolo Bosco and Silvia Pitton, collaborated with WDSF in creating free "You Training DanceSport" resources. The video was recorded in August 2011 at the DanceSport Centre Stuttgart-Feurebach. WDSF wishes to acknowledge the support of Silvia and Paolo as well as of the TSZ Stuttgart-Feuerbach.

I have always adored this couple, because I like kind people and this couple seemed to me a kind couple, apart from all technique, speed, passion etc. But what I really want to say...
Earlier I named Silvia "The most beautiful neck in the world in Ballroom dancing". Now I see she is the most beautiful woman in the world. (It is my view. I don't impose my preferences on anybody.) Cannot stop watching in her eyes, even forget listening to Paolo.

The impulse Paolo mentioned is in the highest level, you can only see the side of his shirt streched from wrinkle to smooth upon the expansion-retract (impluse) of abdomen. I usally do that with a little tiny quick twist of my lower torso as a signal to the lady. My way is too easy to be seen, Paolo does it almost invisible. That is why he is the WDSF champ, I am only an old dancer/competitor.

Can anyone advice me that will the WDSF Technique Books/The Tango have the description on how to do the Impulse , vibration and Pressure?

Greetings. The WDSF Tango Technique Book does give definitions of some of these actions. However, the details are not specific enough for one to produce the correct actions without a teacher or coach to provide further understanding. That said, the Technique Books are a wonderful resource with a wealth of information that is not exhaustive or complete without instruction.
