For the Hainan chicken rice, you are supposed to mix the 3 sauces over the rice and the chicken. The soy sauce is actually a more premium sweet soy sauce. It isn’t mixed with anything else. There are actually different grades of soy sauce that depends on the fermentation, the quality of the ingredients, and the thickness of the sauce. The sweet soy is actually fermented longer which is why it has the sweetness and the thicker consistency. The chow kway teow has to have seafood, the leop cheong, pork lard, and it has to have a very hot fired wok to get the wok hay or dragons breathe effect. That is why the noodles are “light” as you say. It should have a good chew and lots of garlic flavor in addition to the seafood and sausage and egg flavors. Overall, good job on the review and the food looks really good. Looks very much like a hawker center in Singapore except with air con and cleaner. And without the long flight to Singapore.

Dan, you missed the shave ice in the dessert station. They are very good. We were there 2 weeks ago while we were in Vegas. We actually saw you and Norma Geli sitting at 1 of the tables at RW food hall. If it wasn't for the fact that most of these stalls are from Michelin recognized restaurants, I wouldn't have noticed because the food weren't very impressive and the prices were expensive. But then that was what expected for food on the strip. Overall this food hall is a good place to visit for those who are curious to know what it's like but it doesn't have the "wow" factor to keep you coming back for a second or third visit.
Another great vlog, Dan. Keep it up! I see all of that great looking food and I say to myself, I could eat maybe one entree and the bread with a drink and I would be satisfied. So, and I am sure I am not alone to ask you Dan, do you eat ALL of that food by yourself or do you have a crew to help you eat it after you have tasted it, or do you have lots of "doggie" bags to take back to the hotel room? If you do actually eat it all right there, what is your workout regimen, because you appear to be in good shape.
Each case is different but I took some of the items Togo after haha. Also I plan to release some fitness videos on a separate account in the near future so stay tuned Jim!
Next time we go to Las Vegas we plan to try each station (sharing of course) and see which one is our fav. Probably do a few per day so we don't over stuff ourselves.
It's great to see an Asian Food Hall in Vegas, especially on the Strip. The Italian meatball sandwich, fried chicken and Texas bbq joints look a bit out of place in the hall though.

Actually this a typical food court in a mall. A real hawker centre (Singapore) is something different (historically, requirements, look, etc.). Still nice video
