As a nurse, I cared for a child with amniotic banding syndrome involving his head and face. So thankful that Christian was born to such wonderful parents. The child I cared for had parents who wanted nothing to do with him because of his appearance.
I have diseases of my own and I used to tell all my friends when in school and they would jokingly call me “weird” and I would always tell them “why should I be normal ugh being normal is just so boring and average! Why be normal when I can stand out by being weird!! 😜” the 1’s who got it definitely got it and loved me even more
Zoe's story resonates with me so much. I am someone who is also diagnosed with osteogenesis imperfecta, and luckily mine is on the milder side compared to hers. I had broken my femurs 4 times by the time i was 14, on top of numerous other bones (I have also stopped counting). I have still to this day never met someone else in person who has OI. The condition can be so isolating because you never meet other people like you. Something in general that is understated is, at least for me, the mental torment of being trapped in your own body in constant pain without the power to do anything except endure. For me, the mental challenges and bullying will always be much more difficult than the physical aspect (although that DEFINITELY sucks). I know Zoe won't see this but she has given me reassurance that there is still good things in the world during terrible times. Thank you ❤
I am very sorry to hear that you experienced bullying and that you are having a hard time mentally, feeling trapped in your body. I am glad you took hope and strength from watching Zoey in this video. As someone struggling with mental health too (I have complex ptsd from childhood traumata) I feel for you, though I can't imagine what it must be like with a physical disability. Sending you lots of strength, happiness, hope and love! I'm sure you are very strong!! ❤
I have never understood human beings making fun or bullying anyone but especially someone who is challenged with physical differences. For all I know you could be an Angel unawares (Bible)… may you continue to grow positivity in this world
Have you ever tried to reaxh out with online support groups? If you meet someone you could even like face time. To have some friends who share your symptoms. You aren't alone. Find your village. Even if it's online. You can play games even online with others with your same condition. Easier said then done I know. My son is struggling with friends due to his level 3 autism. He can't speak but he understands speech. He makes what most would consider wierd noises and body movements. It breaks my heart for him. I to am trying to find friends for him online. Good luck with your symptoms and finding a best friend with your same issues. ❤

what i wouldn't do to take away zoe's pain, shes a inspiration and a ray of light, but i wish she could be like any other little girl, running jumping and playing like any other kid, jumping in a ballpit or on a trampoline
What is wrong with people nowadays?!?! There are so many kids born “different”. Sharing their stories helps to educate all ages. Through this, many parents who are struggling can find some peace & a lot of help. These stories are educational, inspiring & hopefully teach tolerance. Kids are generally much more accepting. It is parents who most often create prejudice & fear. I grew up with more than a handful of these children. To me they were just friends & still are! If you or you child(ren) have questions, ask politely. Keep bad stuff in your head!! They are all ppl! Some have different journeys in life. All are beautiful. By sharing their stories they don’t seek attention!! It’s actually insensitive to assume you know the answer to your own questions before asking the person actually experiencing. As someone with very painful abnormalities, I don’t like it when people think they know what I’m experiencing without asking.
When my kids were little we had a school friend who had a severe case of Treacher Collins. All the kids took a few minutes and they were fine and playing together, it was the adults with the issues! We can learn a lot from kids.
These children are brave and accept their disabilities with courage. They are trying to overcome the challenges with all their strength and grace. I hope that with medical research and advancement, it will help or prevent some of their health problems.

Luna is soooo precious! All the kids were, but Luna stole my heart. And she's got such a great daddy. I hope she realizes this when she gets older. You can just see the absolute adoration pour from his eyes ❤
Christians Mom wrote a devotional that literally saved mine and my daughters life just after she got diagnosed. The words "This is Gods love on display" has stuck with me for 5 years. My daughter is nonverbal and will never say "Mama" but I love her endlessly. So many dont call God by His name but He loves each person unconditionally. God says "no matter who you are, what you do or cannot do-or even if you call me Papa... I LOVE YOU"
How can you not fall in love with ALL of these kids! They are each so darn cute in their own individual way. I think it is important to hear their stories to know that it's okay to engage and ask questions about their child's condition. I, myself felt unsure whether the parents wanted to be bothered by people asking questions. They are no different than any other loving parent and of course, these are just regular children living with unique conditions and they deserve the utmost respect & consideration to be treated as we would want others to treat our own children. Thanks for allowing us to meet your awesome kids, and taking the time to share their stories, moms & dads. They are each truly beautiful inside and out, no question about that! KEEP SMILING~

Seeing that young girl's heart beat through her chest is such an incredible thing. Just... Wow. Seeing every beat that keeps her sweet spirit alive is so cool. I really do wonder what it feels like to feel something truly touching your heart though.
People like these kids really put life into perspective. I am not going to complain about my life. If these kids can face life with a smile on their faces, then so can I.
You're still allowed to complain about your life because it is not a competition. We are all dealing with different things and there's no reason to compare one person to another person and you're allowed to be suffering. These kids that are born different are just an inspiration for the rest of us because they're dealing with something that we will never deal with and they're dealing with it very well. They have parents that take care of them and encourage them and make them who they are because they encourage them but their situation could be a lot different if their parents weren't as supportive and as encouraging as these parents are.
Because if his parents had got him couseling to get to to the bottom of the problem rather than going along with it he most likely would have grown out of it. Studies reported have varied but land between 85-95% will grow out of it when they receive proper counseling and no drug interventions. Once put on puberty blockers and cross sex hormones the number drops to less than 1%. With puberty blockers alone there are a host of potential problems, they use the same drugs for "puberty blockers" that they use to chemically castrate sex offenders, they weaken the immune system among other problems but the problems really come overwhelmingly with cross sex hormones. Not only are people on cross sex hormones more likely to experience depression and anxiety among other mental health problems, trans people in general are extensively more likely to commit suicide, with or without hormones, with or without surgery. Cross sex hormones also massively increase the risk of being infertile, unable to reach sexual gratification (which is compounded even further with surgeries), more likely to experience stroke, cancer and heart attacks. Why would you send your child down that path when there's an 85%+ chance they will outgrow it and go on to live a normal, happy life as the gender they were born as with proper counseling and no drugs? Why not give them the time, love and support they need to outgrow it rather than sending them down a path of near certain destruction? That's not "love", that's life long sabatoge. There's a reason many other countries, many considered "more progressive" than America have already or are currently considering banning transgender treatment for minors. There isn't this preponderance of evidence that it is beneficial like they like to pretend, there is however plenty of evidence of it's harm. Sending your child down that road is not "love". Look at "Jazz Jennings", he's been on that path since he was 2, had all the support, all the drugs, all the surgeries and he's a mental basket case, it's sad, not something to celebrate or encourage, especially when they know the majority will overcome it if just given time and proper support.
The girl w/ her heart on the outside….man when she said “people who know about her condition sometimes use it against her!” I know exactly what she means man smh I have a few diseases of my own and the amount of “friends” in school who would do that exact same thing to me was truly heartbreaking and I cried after school so many times cause of the hurtful things that would be said to me!
Hearing Rebekah’s story on this video is very beautiful and thought provoking because it makes me think about all the other kids who might be thinking that they could be part of the LGBTQIA+ community, transgender, specifically, and weren’t able to talk about it with their parents and families because of not being surrounded by supportive people. And the stories of the kids who have various medical conditions or missing limbs are really awesome. They are definitely go getters. And people need to think before they say mean things about other people’s kids such as in the case of Luna’s video where that elderly woman had the nerve to call Luna a monster, honestly it’s that elderly person who is the monster for saying such hurtful things about a kid who can’t control a medical condition that she has.
I was born with Pectus Excavatum causing a significant hole in the centre of my chest at the tag end of the 60s. I will always be grateful to my parents for teaching me to accept and love my body ithe way God made it and refusing to make me cover up or hide.
You really made a beautiful connection with Piper! She has the perfect Dad, Mom and little sister!! God bless them all❣️ And God bless you too, of course…
I realize sometimes people really do mean well and have good intentions and there are those you are just plain ignorant and obnoxious...Just imagine you having a child with brittle bone disease which averages about 1 in about 16 to 20 thousand births, there is no treatment or cure for this extreme affliction and you have people telling you to try giving your child more milk...MORE MILK ???? Seriously ?? People like that should either not leave their house or if they do, refrain from speaking 🤦♀️
I am so amazed at these children and I would be Honored to have them as my children. Their parents are amazing also! We love our children no matter what. ❤❤❤

The snake giving the one kid a neck hug. Aww. Percious, make sure it doesnt bite. ❤ The young lady without arms doing her own life skills awesome. Im visually impared and dev. delay, soo many ppl ask how I do it. I just do.
These kids weren't born to inspire the rest of us. They should be able to choose their own purpose in life, not feel obligated to serve as inspiration for others.
What are you even talking about? This is educational. Doctors have saved lives, kept kids out of the states hands bc they saw kids like these kids on an educational video and recognized the symptoms weren't caused by abuse, or were fatal if untreated. Nobody's chasing them around, their home addresses, parents jobs, or the schools they go to, aren't shared. If they didn't want to do these interviews, they wouldn't. All these kids have a voice of their own. Why is there always someone who's always got to be negative about every dam thing?!
Being an inspiration can give a person a sense of hope. You realise you have something to give to others, and that allows us to realise we have something worth sharing! it's very healing actually. There is no talk of obligation here they're just sharing their loving spirits
Everyone should want to inspire others because everyone on this planet has a different struggle in their life some struggle harder than others these babies are very inspiring their smiles the love their parents give them these babies live differently than others some kids might be going through similar struggles and this is actually inspiring
Tfs. These kids are so beautiful and amazing. I’m so proud for them and their parents. And yes what makes the human person so mean. Just because ppl look and act different is absolutely no reason for anyone to place judgement. We are all Gods children. And to my knowledge God does not make mistakes. God bless and keep you all strong and happy.
These kids prove how amazing they are every day. People are so nasty judging them. Christian doing Karate was great, his sensei is doing such a great job training him. I worked with kids for years and had a great sensei close to where I was based who'd take so many kids with all sorts of issues or problems and his input turned their lives around. I think I fell in love with Luna, she's so cheeky.
Kids in this program and especially the Parents are both inspirational and outstanding as far as LOVE HAS NO BARRIERS. I am so proud of you all!!!! LOVE TO YOU ALL.
I just finished reading a middle grade book (yes, I'm an adult) called Insignificant Events in the Life of a Cactus by Dusti Bowling about a girl with no arms. Loved it!
All of these children are absolutely beautiful and amazing hands down to the parents. I have enjoyed learning and watching them so much thank you guys for sharing all of you.❤
I grew up taking care of my older sister who is severely disabled so i have thought about that many times. I gave up my childhood to taking care of someone who cant care for themselves. I dont think i could do it with my own child. Especially if they wont have a good quality of life.
So happy to see those lovely families. so happy to see the children still with their parents. Here in The Netherlands chilprotection service will take away these children from their parents because they won't believe the child has a medical condition without parents to blame. There is too much pressure to put children elsewhere (and financial benefits for the institution) there won't be a legal case and no opportunity for the parents to take serious of reason of the doubt. So happy here the children can grow up with their parents. Hopefully in The Netherlands they can experience the same. So much love to give. So much trauma you can avoid. ❤
Being an inspiration for others is a huge responsibility for a child with disabelitiesy. Inspiration should come from self-assurance of one's abilities and ways to live with a physical disabilities. This gives others confidence to approach them. Animal therapy is awesome and is such a help in development. "Normal" would enjoy this, but the therapy for him is helping him develop skills emotionally and physically.
OK is anybody gonna talk about how good the girl is with her heart Like in the wrong place She's so good at drawing Like it seriously That's better than me and I'm not normal

@@amysnews6808youre schizophrenic
@@amysnews6808 So you chose hate I see. Sad.
@@amysnews6808 You can stop. I really don't want to read the ramblings of a bigot
Incredible kids, incredible parents
Yep
It's unfortunate that we as a society think different equates to ugly.
sophie is an amzing young girl
She is
I was an inspiring girl because of my Cerebral Palsy I've had since I was 7 months old due to a car accident.
The patience everyone in her life has for her is truly beautiful. That baby bones so easily fractures. I hope zoeys bones strengthen over time .
All the children in this show are the most beautiful kids in the world. And not just them. All the kids that are different are beautiful
each of these kids are just so amazing!
You can’t blend in when you were born to stand out
I have OI it runs in my family too in the female line. Im blown away by Zoes parents they are total rockstars and i love her mom shes a momma bear
Zoey is so very precious!!! What a beautiful spirit she has.
12:18 she can draw better with her feet better than me drawing with my hands😭😭 even tracing!!
I am so amazed at these children and I would be Honored to have them as my children. Their parents are amazing also! We love our children no matter what. ❤❤❤
Zoe has CERVICAL kyphosis, not surgical kyphosis. Ergh

Little Charlie, the park ranger! How wonderful to be brought up learning about all those animals and how to care for them.
I honestly love sophie so much. As a rider and a person who also has an obsession with horses, I think she is such an inspiration and such a bubbly person.
Thank you for sharing these Inspiring Kids and Adults stories! it makes you think of how we can be kind to one another Choose Kind (Wonder)😍😍😍😍😍😍😄😄😄💖💖💖💖💖💖
The girl with the outside heart has my respect for not trying to cover up her defect by wearing belly shirts a lot. Its awesome how much she owns it..
The snake giving the one kid a neck hug. Aww. Percious, make sure it doesnt bite. ❤
The young lady without arms doing her own life skills awesome. Im visually impared and dev. delay, soo many ppl ask how I do it. I just do.
These kids are so cute. Don't be afraid to be you, my friends.
I wish i was as confident as these brave children❤
Ok can we just address that Zoe is adorable
Fr
There is no talk of obligation here they're just sharing their loving spirits
ignore the woke left agenda where people complain for those who aren't even in bothered themselves😅 @@willow_jayde
Everyone should want to inspire others because everyone on this planet has a different struggle in their life some struggle harder than others these babies are very inspiring their smiles the love their parents give them these babies live differently than others some kids might be going through similar struggles and this is actually inspiring
0:40 ❤
All these children are amazing! I love them all! 🙌🏼🌻
When it showed Rebeca in a ballet class I know she’s gonna make it to point one day just like me and I’m only 8
These children are testimonies to the fact beauty is definitely on the inside - it resides in the heart
It's fascinating watching her heart beat. She's truely unique.
Yes id genuinely live meeting her
Kids in this program and especially the Parents are both inspirational and outstanding as far as LOVE HAS NO BARRIERS.
I am so proud of you all!!!! LOVE TO YOU ALL.
“you can’t stay in when you’re born to stand out” 🙌🏼
I just finished reading a middle grade book (yes, I'm an adult) called Insignificant Events in the Life of a Cactus by Dusti Bowling about a girl with no arms. Loved it!
Loved that book and it’s sequels! I’ve read both novels multiple times
Wait! What?! There's a sequel? Sorry, I have to leave. I have to go see a female warrior about a book.
All of these children are absolutely beautiful and amazing hands down to the parents. I have enjoyed learning and watching them so much thank you guys for sharing all of you.❤
These kids are AMAZING!!!!!! I love that they stay true to there self ❤
No ones story was as sad as Zoe’s and made me as sad or heart warmed then Zoe’s
Have you ever wondered if you would choose termination over carrying an imperfect child to birth? Both decisions must be very very difficult.
No not difficult for me. Terminate of course. Life’s hard enough.
I grew up taking care of my older sister who is severely disabled so i have thought about that many times. I gave up my childhood to taking care of someone who cant care for themselves. I dont think i could do it with my own child. Especially if they wont have a good quality of life.
No one is perfect, but life is still 100% worth living.
Sophie draws better than most of us and we have arms thats some skills
Seeing the first little girl on the video just , makes me so happy
" you can't fit in when you're born to stand out" I think that needs to be famous
All of these kids are so beautiful
Gavin is the most sassy baby i have seen. the look he gave his mum after he threw the pickle was adorable
And we complain about stupid stuff but these kids just get on with it
I agree❤❤❤❤
Terrific! Beautiful! Way to go!💜✝☮✝💜
Being an inspiration for others is a huge responsibility for a child with disabelitiesy.
Inspiration should come from self-assurance of one's abilities and ways to
live with a physical disabilities. This gives others confidence to
approach them.
These kids are amazing.good job to the parents and the kids
99% of the babies were Born with HARDSHIPS, which they and their families are dealing with... WHY, WHY!??? Put an "exceptional" gymnast in with this???
I felt sick seeing that... It was like rubbing it in the face of all these hardworking parents, and children who have been through SO MUCH.... Disgusting...
And the kid with the crocodiles too crass how they include these two who really are not disabled
Love the park that Zoe gets to do everything at.
This is what real body positivity should be and celebrated. 🎉
