Well they got the name right. ITS FUNK. Pins just fall flat. Dont move much and when they do its not very natural. Carnival game. Should put ticket dispensers on those ball returns for the cheap toys in the glass counter add a tilt awhirl and maybe a ferris wheel and FUNK will have a real carnival where you can win your girl a stuffed bear 🐻. My wii bowling game has more authentic pin action for pete sakes.
I heard Duckpins is making a comeback but with string pinsetters. Regular duckpins, the pinsetters for that game, Sherman stopped making them in 1973, when a duckpin house closes, the other ones cannibalize the parts. Fortunately in Montgomery County, White Oak Lanes reopened 2 years after being flooded and is located in the basement and a big mildew infestation, with the old Sherman pinsetters but now with synthetic lanes.

@@themidnighttoker100 The boys running the lanes here, were not trained professionals on day one. Now, 2 months later they got it down perfectly. They oil Monday Wednesday Friday Saturday. Which I think is all they need to. Even the burn days are a fun challenge. But what they also do is keep an eye on pinspotting. When these strings stretch, the pins dangle lower at the highest point when they are fully retracted, and will set them off spot sometimes. every morning they check the tension and how low each pin dangles. and they make the tension adjustment without needing any tools. it's really quite genius. These are kids, I mean 18 to 20 year old kids running the show and I'm proud of the job they do. And I tell them they should be too.
