If I use only two pallets for the seat part, because I'm making cushions for it, would I have to shorten the length of the planks on the back part, that slides into the seat?

Did you use any kind of water protection on it? I'm worried that the compressed wood blocks that hold the pallets together will fall apart with it sitting outside in the rain. Did you have any problem with this? We are making this to go around our fire pit.

Ollari, It would be great if we here in Australia could get a good quality pallet such as EPAL stamped/branded pallets that you are lucky enough to get, but here in Australia, we get the cheapest Chinese pallets made of schitt with the dodgiest products on top of them. I swear, even matchwood would be better. Yea and the wood shatters into splinters if you try and pry the slats off with a jimmy bar, a sharpened leaf spring or a chisel. So there I was with the hacksaw cutting each and every bustaerd nail by hand and then with the drift pin, I had to punch each and every single cutoff part of the nail out of the wood, And none of the patterns of these pallets here are the same as the pallets you are working with, they are all upside down and about face, basically, redesigning your sofa furniture to suit what materials we have here.
I tell you 1 thing I've been a sub to you for I don't know how long , but I can watch your videos over and over and still enjoy them I think your channel is brilliant and your projects absolutely amazing to watch keep them coming for as long as you can you're a inspiration to people like myself (totally fucking useless) you're Ace sorry about swearing but with good intention 😁✊👍

Just because, I just went & picked up some beautiful epal pallets. Lol! They are are like the new patio furniture name brand.
+Todd Davis Those are European standard 120cm by 80cm reusable pallets but you can use the same sized one way pallets as well Just make sure they have HT stamped on them, this stands for Heat Treated.

Paul Merkel it is a manufacturer that produces pellets under strict guidelines using only top-quality wood however some of their pallets do come out of Europe.but that top pallet is/was a GRADE "A" PALLET WITH SOME GRADE " A" WOOD.

+Patrick Gallant no you don't need to. You can make them longer to go to both pallets & the back piece as well.

You can, but it wouldn’t be comfortable as the back rest would be at the wrong angle.

Hi, how long actually you should spend to make this? 1.5 hours or 30 minutes for one?
It really depends how long you want to sand it and how many coats of paint you apply. The basic construction is about 30minutes.

it's a EU pallet style one way pallet. the dimensions are the same but much weaker!
