It's often just plain steamed rice then paired with a flavorful viand or two. The thing is, at the end of the day, we'd usually have a lot of leftover rice from lunch and supper. So, in order to not waste them, we refrigerate and cook them into fried rice in the morning.

Ever since I learnt how to make the dalgona coffee, it's a huge replacement for my boba tea cravings! I used to be not really a coffee person but it's really delicious and really helps save me a lot of money from when I used to be drinking boba almost everyday. You can actually even deep fry the the rice paper whole and serve it as is to accompany some types of Vietnamese salads. We just break off pieces as we eat it and use those pieces like crackers or chips, where you load some toppings (a bit of the salads in most cases) on them before eating them. Even simpler is to just dip the pieces in a sauce.
Dont be so harsh on yourself. Her pancakes were originally stuck together in a line and I'm willing to bet it took her a few tries and editor magic. The egg sandwich, one I tried myself; the only trick is that flip. It is all in the wrist, and if you flip it too aggressively it falls apart. Gently, always do things slowly if you are new in the kitchen so you get the technique down first. And take it from someone who knows, slow and pathetic flip is far better than an aggressive flip that leaves a mess everywhere. 😂

If you do the pancake cereal one I really recommend a griddle. If you have a gas stove they have some cast iron ones for directly on the cook top. Otherwise get an electric one.. I got my new one a week ago and have already used it like 4 times. My last one I dropped and the handle portion that holds it up broke and so I was without one for a while (about aa year) and I really missed having one. So usefull and they can be put away in the cabinet when you're not using it. Though I got a large one and it doesn't fit in my old cabinets but I got a buffet type side bar and it can go in there.
