He also performs with his band who bring the same immense energy as Bruno does, and it’s unmatched from most other live performers. An absolute worthwhile watch.
Most of their songs are about drug addiction as the lead singer Anthony Keidis has had a long struggle with heroin and other vices. His autobiography goes deep into it. Listen to albums Blood Sugar Sex Magic, Californication and Stadium Arcadium. They’re all different. Their really early stuff was more funk, rap, rock which is cool too. Grew up in SoCal listening to these guys and appreciating their journey. Saw them in concert with STP if you could imagine how awesome that was!
