I've always liked LG displays. This is looking like a good monitor choice for when I do eventually upgrade from a 1920X1200 display. Thank you Ben.

You can also buy the LG 32'' 32UD99 4K HDR10 IPS for only $900.
I think most things are the same, It's IPS and not nanoIPS, it has only one Thunderbolt and it's HDR10 but not VESA600.

How come 'retina mode' with lower pixel density? This monitor has 139 PPI vs Apple's Retina being ~218-220 PPI. It might look good and sharp enough, but I don't think it can be a true seamless extension of a Mac with retina display

this is just me, 32inch is not workable for coder. We need a large workable surface area but concentrated enough to be focused. Large screen is really a distraction, believe it or not. However 4k, 5k, or whatever k is really important, so that we can keep small screen close to you. But you really can't bring this 32inch close to you, can you? Just try it. The heat can blow you away sometimes.

There is so much wrong with this "review". For starters, you review a monitor without saying a single word about the most important aspect of any monitor: the picture quality. Not a single word. Another example is the spot where you show a white object moving across a black background and then say what we see there is backlight bleed. What we saw there had absolutely nothing to do with backlight bleed. Here is a pro tip for you: If you believe you have to make TH-cam videos, actually know what you are talking about.

      Looks cheap and nasty.
Value for 💰.. the richness and depth of the 5K iMac screen still looks WAY better than any external display. And you get a computer built into it too.
Plus the build quality shits all over this garbage. Look at that crappy white plastic backside and that cheap-ass stand. No thanks.
New iMac’s came out yesterday - now is the time to buy.. 🖥

Hello Cony because Apple imposed unnecessary limits on its gear.

do not use HDMI adapters. leave HDMI for a playstation or like a Chromecast. Use DP or the ⚡️(preferred).

Kaan Montana no, it’s inherent to the technology. I avoid IPS like the plague now - it’s so annoying
