Folks if you get time go visit this farm. This is a great model on how we as a country , a world should be farming. Lets support them and make more farms like this and change our world one farm at a time.
Mike Moore The problem isn’t that common folk don’t want this type of agriculture. The problem is that major companies can buy out all the land and control too much of the economy which they use to muscle out people who try to do this.
After being vegetarian for 15 years due to factory farming practices, and after being quite ill recently I’ve decided to incorporate meat back into my diet. I was only willing to do so if I could find a truly ethical source and I’ve found it in White Oak Pastures. Much respect to you all out there making this work. Would love to visit sometime. Thanks for what you do.
best beef and chicken money can buy. You can taste the love this gentleman puts into his farm with every bite. Will support this farm for years to come. I would love to visit soon.
you sir are an inspiration to the food movement for a healthier less dependent on big pharma. Let's make America the model for the rest of the world to be envious of.
This is one of those things that I feel may fly over the heads of ethical vegans and vegetarians. The plants they eat rely on the waste and deaths of other animals in order to draw critical nutrients into their stems, leaves, fruits and seeds. Key components of effective compost and organic fertilizers is manure, blood and bone from animals. The dogs and cats that they keep as pets are carnivores and must consume meat from animals to thrive. We are part of the cycle of life ourselves and while I choose not to dwell on it, something must die for me to survive whether I'm eating a nice green salad or a ribeye steak. I have a deep respect and appreciation for farmers and ranchers that choose to pursue this important and noble profession and especially for those like Will Harris who strive for this level of excellence. We need to make our voices heard both through government interactions and with our dollars. Farmers and ranchers need our support to survive.
I am so impressed with your farm! I want to visit! I learned so much just watching your videos! Thank you from an Organic home gardner. I too believe we can feed the world this way and make the whole planet healthier!
Love the work you guys do! Please put up more of these videos - very educational how animals compliment each other and how you use waste to put it back into the farm and nurture it!!!
I am so impressed with what you're doing. I grew up without all the chemical poisons so common, too common, in today's world and I am so glad I did. The chemical companies have a strangle hold on so many throughout the world that most people know nothing about. I don't care how much the "modern" farms can produce, if it's not done humanly and doesn't produce a product that is truly healthy then what is it really worth. I believe that the body reaches a "toxic load level" that will eventually destroy us all if we, as a people, don't get smart about what we consume.
This is excellent. My husband and I are trying to do this but on a way smaller scale. Such an inspiration! Hope to pay y'all a visit soon from North Georgia!
You are reusing the soil ruined by decades of pesticides and industrial fertilizer. How have u made this soil clean and safe again? Is it even possible?
