I'm so pleased you made this video. The D-Day landings was such a momentous operation. My father was present, as a pilot, and my step-father landed on the beach. He only ever spoke about it once, and I'm so sorry I did not have a voice recorded then. These brave men were an exceptional generation.

This was a very moving and important recording, thank you so much Gabriel. The multi faith gathering where everyone spoke, outside the Town Hall, was exceptional - I can’t really imagine that happening in that way in any place but Glasto. 🕊️🙏
It made me hope that all your videos are somehow being stored together in an archive for people to watch many years in the future!

Hey 🖐 I really feel sorry for my nation to start World War II. But me and my generation have no guilt anymore. We are longing for peace. May your beautiful country and its loveable folks be blessed always... Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪 Silvia ✨️

Thank you for your kind words. I was honoured to make this video. They were Brave soldiers on both sides of the beach both German and allies. They were fighting a war for a cause they believed in. What is important is what came after. The German nation has striven for peace and co operation and we're pivotal in the creation of modern Europe. We salute you on this day

O GOD of earth and altar,
Bow down and hear our cry,
    Our earthly rulers falter,
    Our people drift and die;
The walls of gold entomb us,
    The swords of scorn divide,
Take not thy thunder from us,
    But take away our pride.
    From all that terror teaches,
From lies of tongue and pen,
    From all the easy speeches
    That comfort cruel men,
    From sale and profanation
    Of honour and the sword,
    From sleep and from damnation,
    Deliver us, good Lord.

What's that weird mist coming out of the door of the crown? Or is it just a smear?
