I love how much you love this spec. I took a break from wow during the end of shadowlands and I’ve had a lot of fun coming back and learning all about Evoker. Thanks for all of your easy to understand guides, it really helped me unlock the potential of pres evoker 💚
Love your guides! As a healer for this season, it's really been helping me adjust to higher keys. And while I've been playing Druid, I've been dipping my feet into Preservation for some lower keys and hope to push higher with it as well. it's so bursty and fun and your videos really make it seem accessible. Also more than a little bit excited for Augmentation soon. Thank you for all the hard work!
Thank you for this video! I also very resonated with part about overhealing and letting HoTs do their job. In my raid resto druid and shammie complaining about lack of mana, but in reality we all have like 48% of overhealing per usual fight. Hey, guys, just let these hots tick, dont heal for a second... :)
It seems like the question being asked was from the perspective of a Pug. I'd be curious as to know what your go-to is when people stand in fire for just a little too long and you want to avoid deaths. Like, what is the go-to emergency heal spell or spell combination?
This is the hardest for me as a mistweaver main, I'm used to having a lot of instant heal and a bubble and it's weird not to have that. But I feel the same way on resto shaman.
Not sure if I missed it in a previous video but I'd love to know what some of your add ons are! A lot of them seem like stuff that would really help me too. Love your vids BTW the tips are super super helpful and your delivery is very entertaining and calm which is just what I'm looking for!
My BIGGEST issue with this spec is that I played thinking we had way too many tools like Reversion 2 stacks, Essence, Echo, Emerald Blossom and not knowing what the hell was I supposed to do but watching this and you just ignore keeping reversion stacks cap and emerald blossom. Really weird spec and I hope they give players a clear direction on builds if they wanna make it that hard.
I am a fairly new (this expansion) healing full time for my guild (Pres Evoker, resto druid and holy Pally) - what is the issue with overheals - how is this bad?
Overhealing is bad contextually. Pres just has a ton of move that will overheal naturally like spiritbloom. It might hit someone with full health when charge up. It happens, same with rewind or gigantic reversion on Blood DK and Brew. No big deal! But when it comes to M+ and even raid, its important to be contributing in damage and not burning more cooldowns than you need to. If you say, want to heal 2 people with Spiritbloom, you can. But what if the whole party is about to take damage? THen maybe an echo + verdant embrace on the two who are hurt would be better. Less over healing or wasting of a CD. Spiritbloom is available for the larger party wide damage. Another is dream breath. Often I see players (I used to do this a ton) have active HoT's on players and heal them up additionally with a spiritbloom or blossom. But no damage is coming that is a big deal. You can just let the hot do its job. Reversions are fine for smaller damage but let them work if nothing is happening. Save on CDs, no extra overhealing = more damage, cc, and better prep for next incoming damage. But you will absolutely overheal on this class LOL. So its okay when it happens. Minimizing the bad CD usage is more important!
"they" if you dont mind. And no, trust me. People just stand in stuff and die I promise you lol. Listen its not the healers fault if they close their eyes
@@Bowserthehealer panic at the Dungeon all the time, i main heal and tank do season after season and xpac after xpac the pain of dps standing in stuff hurts me
I know you probably haven’t felt this issue, since you main healer, but do you have any thoughts about why it seems so difficult to get a PuG healer this season? I’d also be interested in hearing your thoughts on the state of healing since the “healing nerf” for this season.
I can tell you this: one of the main reasons I hate pugging keys is because I will get a tank that wants to rush through, pulls a bunch of crap that he can easily survive, and doesn't keep aggro leading to DPS or the healer dying. I had this happen one time and one of the DPS died, but I managed to keep everyone else up, so I told the tank to not pull so much if he can't keep aggro. His reply was, "I can heal myself." I said, "That's great, but doesn't mean a lot to the Spriest who just got nuked because you couldn't keep adds on you and not him." And his reply, of course was, "You suck," but after I told him to just do his damn job, the dungeon went a little smoother, but the fact remains that this experience made me just not want to pug and I'm sure other healers have experienced the same thing.
don't panic. don't PANIC. DON'T PANIC!!!

Oh I’m so happy to hear that! Welcome back! I hope you’re having as much fun as it sounds you are! (And enjoy those disintegrate buffs!)
Thank you Bowser, your videos and streams always bring feel good vibes and ease. Builds my confidence to continue my healing journey and learning.

Happy June, good charity, thanks for helping me learn Preservation Evoker!

Let me burn a bit, echo reversion LOL. Golden hour is my friend!
or, if someone is staying in bad use Rescue to yank them out of it, and tell them after the pull they were standing in bad.

How do you do to dispel the afix so quickly?
I used Plater with Jundies profile, does anyone know how I can show party nameplates so I can easily see where my party is for TA and DB casts?
