Just curious how this suit is holding up under the rigors of cavediving? I'm also looking to possibly purchase. Was considering FE Argonaut 3.0, Santi E.Lite or Seal. Advice or suggestions?
I got chilly just reading this comment! Sounds like some awesome diving. I would go with the FE over those other options. So far I am happy with this suit. I see some wear on my stomac, which is a common spot for me from gear+environment factors. Waterproof also has some premium options that are great for rough environments. For premium suits, FE and WP are the two frontrunners in my opinion. I've seen a lot of hype on other brands and watched them not perform. Sump diving takes an unparalleled toll on suits (from my limited sump experience) and for temps like that you'll need high quality unders - which you probably know already. Feel free to ping me directly if you need further assistance or to be linked with a good shop to source a suit!
Curious about your pockets and sidemounting? Do the pockets interfere with the tanks? Did you have FE move the pockets further back? I talked w Machele from FE and she said they could move them approx 2".
@@SeanDurrum Michele is awesome and will be a ton of help - she's a great resource. I have standard pockets on my suit. My cylinders sit on top of my pockets and I move the cylinders out of the way (with my elbow) when I access the pocket. I don't find that to be an issue. You may prefer the offset placement if you are used to that or dive exclusively sidemount.
Mostly a warm water diver, but just got certified on a chest mounted rebreather there in Florida, and froze my butt off! I'd like to learn to dive with a dry suit, but I feel like it would be infrequent compared to my other diving unless I really got into cavern and cave diving. Think this suit would be overkill? On the neoprene side I was looking at the Bare Sentry Tec. Seems like most all of the drysuits have their inflator valve right smack in the middle of the chest where my rebreather would be though. Any recommendations?
This is definitely a premium suit but if it fits the budget then you should choose premium over an economy suit. I don't think it's overkill. If you go with a more economy suit then be prepared to replace/service or sooner and more frequently. I dive a chestmount CCR and the drysuit valve is perfectly easy to access. For the dive rite optima CM specifically there is a cleft in the counter lungs designed to give you access to the inflator. The top of the unit should also be adjusted to where it's dynamic enough to shift slightly and access the valve. Some units it's easier to go over the top vs across the side. If I can assist with more intel please send me a dm.
Did you get the stealth or hybrid? Is there any reason you didn't get the flex? I have the flex on order because it's supposed to be the tougher of the 3, but it only comes in black 😅
4:03 look at the BOOTS , part of a leg below knee looks like SHIT, its badly cut and saw/glued together -made adding to this mishap with wrong boot size --- PATHETIC - i say 4th element isn't top brand, and yours choice could be much better - u should ask before...
Hi thanks for the video. Does the company build drysuits for pregnant women so they can adjust the abdominal area with the changes in body shape?

So far it's holding up great and I really like it. Where are you located and what temps are you typically diving?
I'll be using the suit for cavediving in FL, sumpdiving in CO & UT (37 degrees F), and lakes (low 50s- 70 F)

I have been looking at this drysuit. I have had my Scubaforce for a couple years now.
This would definitely be an upgrade!

I got the stealth but I'm less worried about that than the suit fit. All A3s should be high quality materials so I don't think you got steered wrong.
