I think it's silly to say Wolverine sucks to give Cyclops his (overdue) due. Wolverine respects chain of command and competence above all and is more than capable of recognizing a fellow alpha in Scott. That's where their entire tension comes from, two alpha dudes who are nearly impossible to move from their positions when they're convinced of their own riotousness. They both rule and the reason each of them are as good as they are. Iron sharpens Iron. Scott is the consummate tactician who must take every possible outcome into account and make a sober plan of action detached from emotion. He's basically autistic-Captain America. And that rules. He's there to carry the burden and lead from the front, not to be liked. And that's why Logan respects Summers despite their differences. Logan wouldn't be as good of a teammate without Scott and Scott wouldn't be the leader he is without Logan. Just look at the pre-Krakoa stories and see how much untapped potential Scott has with the team that never quite manifests until he must prove himself against another alpha in Logan. movie-wise (as that was my second introduction to the character, after evolution... and evolution scott was my first ever crush lol) i feel like james marsden was perfect for the role but didn't get the chance to *be* cyclops. those movies were just everyone being sidelined for logan screentime, i mean, come on! i would love to see a new live-action with cyclops actually being the LEADER and having his real personality because somehow with 7+ movies we've never seen that... they all just complete ignore his status in comics & in the cartoons and make him a minor character. i'm rewatching evolution rn and constantly marveling at how this 20 year old kids cartoon can tell x-men stories so much better than the last 2 big-budget movies in the franchise (3 if we count new mutants? but i don't want to... but i enjoyed dofp so i'll leave it at those) i want to read actual x-men comics but i've always found the idea daunting, as there's so much content and so many different & distinct storylines to choose from... so i'm left with these half-assed movie representations that lead to the character misunderstandings lmao
I Won't say that any X-MEN is cooler than the other X-man especially if we are talking about 2 classic icons of the Mansion X but i would say that Cyclops is a very underrated and under appreciated Hero of the marvel universe i always respected him and always thought he was an interesting X-man the First X-man and the one true leader

hey have you seen x men 97, he's cool again
In some iterations, they actually have cyclops’ beams doing thermal damage. One of the many confusing and or indecisive things about the writing of cyclops
movie-wise (as that was my second introduction to the character, after evolution... and evolution scott was my first ever crush lol) i feel like james marsden was perfect for the role but didn't get the chance to *be* cyclops. those movies were just everyone being sidelined for logan screentime, i mean, come on! i would love to see a new live-action with cyclops actually being the LEADER and having his real personality because somehow with 7+ movies we've never seen that... they all just complete ignore his status in comics & in the cartoons and make him a minor character. i'm rewatching evolution rn and constantly marveling at how this 20 year old kids cartoon can tell x-men stories so much better than the last 2 big-budget movies in the franchise (3 if we count new mutants? but i don't want to... but i enjoyed dofp so i'll leave it at those) i want to read actual x-men comics but i've always found the idea daunting, as there's so much content and so many different & distinct storylines to choose from... so i'm left with these half-assed movie representations that lead to the character misunderstandings lmao
“He’s a square, but that’s not a bad thing”😂😂
My favorite X-men character!
This aged like French wine ❤
My favorite character
Cyclops is freakin awesome...nuff said.
Great fucking video man. Maybe the best cyclops video I’ve ever seen
Cyclops bangs the best looking women also. Loved the Cyclops Emma coupling. Such a great combo.
I love both Wolverine and Cyclops they are both needed in the X-men
The X-Men Anime did a really great job of balancing them
And the telepaths love him
Always enjoyed Cyclops even from the Fox movies as a kid. Now I can say he actually is a supreme badass and Fox did him dirty
I always liked the fact that Scott is the son of both Charles and Magneto
He is so cool
I agree with you. I love Scott. He was awesome in MvC Capcom fighter!
I like Cyclops, and I also like Wolverine. The rivalry between them is probably one of my favorite rivalries ever in comic book history
You forgot to mention one of Cyclops greatest traits: his chemistry with Emma Frost 😎
I Won't say that any X-MEN is cooler than the other X-man especially if we are talking about 2 classic icons of the Mansion X
but i would say that Cyclops is a very underrated and under appreciated Hero of the marvel universe
i always respected him and always thought he was an interesting X-man
the First X-man and the one true leader
Well said. The icon of strong male leadership was assasinated
"You know nothing little man"😂😂😂
Would love to see that scene from AvX when Cyclops blasts Cap on the BigScreen, but with Cap's run likely over on screen, don't think it would happen. Would be cool though - ala Tony and Cap still frame / splash page from Civil War that was depicted on screen. Nice video
His “geometry power” reminds me of the “all seeing eye” of Fuhrer King Bradley aka Pride, from the Full Metal Alchemist. Unstoppable.
no shade, but it sounds like cyclops wasn’t all that interesting until that modern arch of him making his own x-men.
Was hes still pretty interesting before that? I have to admit, I always felt he was kind of lame.
Finally, somebody gets it.
The movies did him dirty
I hate how only i know the last 30 seconds of the video were just sonic the hedgehogs ds handheld rpg's first greenhill zone theme lmao I hate how I remember that so vividly I could call it out by sound
He’s not entirely a square he does have his moments where he could have fun you just understand when it’s time to get down to business it’s time to get down to business
Preach man. Preach
