Hi i have a 1994 Mitsubishi pajero 3 door that wont go forward or reverse, I noticed when i changed the oil in the transmission it moved perfect but sudenly stopped moving and i had to tow it home what in or on the transmission would cause this.
If the transmission is old and never been changed transmission oil, the oil became thicker. Once you changed it, the new oil is thinner that will cause internal leak and make your oil pressure drop.
The last time it drove for about 5 mins till a humming noise then i lost drive and reverse.a mechanic told me about the oil pump on the transmission that could cause the pressure drop but i dont know about the humming noise im hearing@@FRubioatars

I own a busted XL7, the timing chain destroyed the engine. It is a 2006. Is this the same transmission? I would love to mount an 6G72 engine, but I´m not sure if the bolt pattern is the same. Any suggestion? I would appreciate that!
Gud day! If your transmission is A340 , 30-40 LE, 30-43 LE its the same transmission. There will be a difference with your bellhousing and torque converter bolts. You can use the bellhousing and torque converter for 6G72 if it equipped with A 340, 30-40 LE, 30-43 LE

Al poner L sale rápido en primera, la pasar 2 asume la tercera y no la segunda, al poner D pasa la cuarta. Me acostumbré pero tú vídeo me motivó a sacar ese detalle. Muchas gracias. Espero sea solo el solenoide 1 que arrojo el escáner. Lo último el solenoide 1 influye en la primera y segunda marcha? Ya que ese es mi problema. Es así?

If there is no reverse but forward is okay, then probably the problem is your low and reverse clutch. Yes it need to be rebuild. The rebuilding kit is A340

bro, magkano po pa overhaul ng Automatic transmission ng montero sport 2009 model 4M41 engine 3.2L? prolema kasi nya, matagal sya mag shift from 1st gear to 2nd gear, yong ibang gear normal shifting naman. tapos pag mainit na makina at nata traffic, nag bblink yong "D" drive indicator at stuck na sya sa 3rd gear. maraming salamat po.
35k po kung walang sirang hard parts. Kasama na po dun ang labor, rebuilding kit at atf. Baka sa kuryente po ang problema. Ipa-scan nyo po muna ang tcm kung may nakastore na trouble code.

Good day! Subukan mo munang mag change oil ng transmission at lagyan mo sya ng additives (atf conditioner). Dahil sa edad ng sasakyan mo kung hindi pa narerebuild ang transmission, ay sadyang magkakaganun ang deperensya. Natigas na yung kanyang mga goma.

Alin ang nawawalan ng hatak, makina o transmission? Kung hindi tumataas ang RPM kapag mainit na ay makina ang mahina kung tumataas ang rpm at walang hatk ay maaring madumi na ang langis, barado ang filter o slide na ang clutch

Kung may nararamdaman kang slide sa 3rd gear ay posibleng may problema ang direct clutch mo. Kung ok naman ang 3rd gear ay low and reverse clutch ang may problema.

Ang unang posible dun ay delay up-shift 1st to 2nd gear maaring sa adjustment ng detent cable o TPS. Ano ba ang unit mo? 2.5 4D56 engine o 2.8 4M40 engine?
2 years ago na pala tong comment na to nasira na talaga ang tranny ko boss.. may gasgas na sa buahing ng front pump tapos pati sa shaft ng torque converter.. maingay pag paandarin.. pra wlang power kahit nasa drive pro na engage naman.. tama kaya palitan ko ang torque converter at yung pump assemble na may bushing? Or palitan na lahat na surplus na tranny salamat
You can see you have a lot of experience in automatic transmission work. What are weakest points on this Pajero 2.8 box and who supplies the repair kits as I live in the U.K. and automatics are not as common as manual gearboxes. I enjoy watching you at work.
Good job! However one thing should be done correctly: clutch discs have to be dropped into A/T fluid for several hours before their install. Anyway nice video! Please continue.

where to adjust the line pressure on that model 30-40le....i want to increase by 5psi.
You can adjust with pressure regulator valve. There are 4 steps at rear of reverse boost valve sleeve where the retainer was seated.

Thanks! You better check electrical harness first, check if the shift solenoids are working. If one solenoid fail, you will start at wrong gear

Yes I hope so! If solenoid 1 does not work, there is no 1st gear.
Also Check solenoid 2 (1:00:16)

Better check first your engine and transmission supports, crossjoints, differential oil and transfer case oil.

Kung kumakambyo lahat, 1st, 2nd 3rd, and overdrive, baka sala lng yung shift pattern. Subukan mong idrive ng manual para madelay mo yung paglipat.

Tye gasket is included in the rebuilding kit or when you buy a new filter. Other option: You can fabricate using ordinary cork gasket.

Usually its A43de or 03-72LE if your transmission have 14 bolt pan.

Baka naka3rd gear. Di gumagana ang shift solenoid. Check muna kung may kuryente na nanggagaling sa computer box papuntang transmission shift solenoid.

Kung may nararamdaman kang slide sa 3rd gear ay posibleng may problema ang direct clutch mo. Kung ok naman ang 3rd gear ay low and reverse clutch ang may problema.

Good day after i took the valve body out and put it back in, the car was all good I reversed drove it for a couple of km but then when I got back I turned it off and on and tried to reverse and nothing happened all other gears working fine. Can you guide me to the right direction please?
Gud day! Its either your low and reverse clutch or direct and reverse clutch is faulty, you need to rebuild the transmission

Front pump oil seal , ref. # is 90311-38020. Better check also front pump bushing

Ang unang posible dun ay delay up-shift 1st to 2nd gear maaring sa adjustment ng detent cable o TPS.
Ano ba ang unit mo? 2.5 4D56 engine o 2.8 4M40 engine?

Kung walang hard parts na sira, ang pyesa ay aabutin lng ng 18k.
2 years ago na pala tong comment na to nasira na talaga ang tranny ko boss.. may gasgas na sa buahing ng front pump tapos pati sa shaft ng torque converter.. maingay pag paandarin.. pra wlang power kahit nasa drive pro na engage naman.. tama kaya palitan ko ang torque converter at yung pump assemble na may bushing? Or palitan na lahat na surplus na tranny salamat

You can see you have a lot of experience in automatic transmission work. What are weakest points on this Pajero 2.8 box and who supplies the repair kits as I live in the U.K. and automatics are not as common as manual gearboxes. I enjoy watching you at work.

However one thing should be done correctly: clutch discs have to be dropped into A/T fluid for several hours before their install.
