    • @Justintime2grow
      @Justintime2grow  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah as far as even spread goes this is great. I'm sure some people would be happy with it in a 5x5. I still would like to see 900 in the corners of a 5x5. A 5x5 is quite a bit more sq ft than a 4x4 so you need light accordingly.

    • @Justintime2grow
      @Justintime2grow  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@lok777 I test at 24” that’s pretty standard. You won’t need 3 feet. It really sounds like you haven’t even owned one or ever grown with 1000 par plus if you think that. Hell ive hit 1500+ and been only a few inches away still no light burn.

      @Justintime2grow  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lok777 800w+ should be fine you don’t NEED 1000 it just covers better. Just don’t try to use 600-700w single fixture in a 5x5 if you want high lighting levels. You need more. 600-700 is perfect for a 4x4 to get high lighting levels but a 5x5 is coming up on double the square footage.

    Good it’s about damn time. Someone does a proper video on your average person like me who has 9 grow lights I encourage any of you to find a TH-cam video where someone is using 4-100watt / 200 W lights you will not find a video do a Google search of how far away to keep LED lights from each other. I ended up just getting a par meter you can buy 100 W light for $49 or you could buy usually the 400 Watt light for $500 so I buy up a bunch of the 100watt lights

      I've been thinking that these board style should do something like that or even the outer 3 inches angle it up so shoots light towards the sides. \_____/ kinda like that. Maybe it takes us growers to figure out the design instead of light designers. Same with bar lights that ""will do a 5x5"" they probably would if they ran lights up the frame instead of just the 8 bars one way the frame going other way where light always drops off would even it out and make it actually work in 5x5 like come on companies it's not that hard I guess there slowly making better so we have to upgrade alot.

      @Justintime2grow  ปีที่แล้ว

      The SE1000 should have a 5 year warranty actually. None of these companies will just swap out a light beyond 90 days usually though. It would be hard to believe they didn't offer to have it fixed under warranty unless they determined it was user error that caused it. Beyond 1 year though they do have some fees according to their warranty. It sounds like you are insisting it is replaced which is just not what the warranty says will happen. I go over warranties in my videos.
      You gotta know the warranty before buying, you could have spent another $400-500 and picked up one of the higher end companies like HLG, Chilled or GrandmasterLED that has a better warranty but then you'd be spending another $400-500.
      Here is the spider farmer warranty according to the manual. th-cam.com/video/XX7r5Vp8vvc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=hSe3G6hBPb8QK1az&t=296 I have said time and time again that this warranty kinda sucks but nobody listens. They just see price.

    Check your potentiometer out I've seen one that hits full power at only 75 percent of the dial. Also the white nuts that are supposed to water proof the wires as I saw a fixture with most of the sleeves installed incorrectly. They slap these together to quickly and they are good lights but the stupid mistakes they make could be the difference between a good grow or having a catastrophic fire. Be safe check out everything.
