That first element is gorgeous...
Hi silvarret! It's a Norwegian loop, if you didn't know. Only two in the world.
Nick757 The other one is on fahrenheit at hershey park :D
Nick757 where's the second one? :)
+Nick757 There's a third one, on Helix in Liseberg park.
Yes, but thats a half Norwegian Loop.
1:35 haha
"Woooooah, yeh. C'mon baby!"
XD
A Norwegian loop in Norway!
Scream Insider this is the first ride it appeared on so...
I Like how the Track looks like it's moving forward at times.
Such Itamin. So Smooth. Very Twist. Much Wow.
It has not agreed very well :(
Kranplätze müssen verdichtet sein :DDD
This ride looks fast and smooth. I love the way it winds through the trees, and intertwines with itself. In a world of increasing rides that are giant and soulless - just steel over concrete, this is great to see.
"NORWAY!!"
0:47 i could feel the airtime here
Just wanted to say your commentary on these videos are awesome! Love your channel!
Finally I've been waiting for a good pov of this.
Wow! Every angle imaginable, thanks so much!
I've just been waiting for something from Tusenfryd! Going there the 30th. So excited. It is a fun park!
Such a great ride. I love how it dominates the park's entrance.
I love watching these videos. They make me feel like I'm there on the ride. I would do anything to go around go on roller coasters and what not ❤❤
Flippen awesome!! Love you channel :)
What a POV!!!!! such good quality. It looks fast and intense. I like it and the Norwegian loop.
Wow! Looks so fun, the first loop is quite interesting and innovative... Helix is not alone anymore
That is a beautiful roller coaster. I have a serious crush on Intamin :3
Now get ready, here we go!
Nice one. I am totally bias and favor these type track designs with the inverted Twists
Diese Konstruktion hat mich sehr viel Kraft gekostet.
Holy cow that looks awesome!
0:39 "NORWAYYY"
That looks like so much fun!
I love this roller coaster! Took it 6 times in a row yesterday lol
This looks epic!!
This ride has some brutal and unforgiving twists...
What are you talking about? The ride is incredibly smooth! The twists don't hurt at all.
Theme Park Review that's right man correct these guys. By the way keep saying wee man. That let's me know it's a truly enjoyable ride:-)
Theme Park Review I never said it wasn't smooth, just the twists look intense.
and I dam love twists...
MattCamMans So wait, you've never ridden it??? You're making comments and opinions on a ride you've never ridden? So incredible stupid.
Theme Park Review Why are you so angry, I never though I said anything bad?
Intaminis true king of roller coastersz. This just shows that they are not held back at the different coaster desings. This and bizarro(SFNE) are both amazing coasters, bizarro is almost as good as mel. force so it's one of the best. And speed monster is a unique yet underated coaster.
The back of the coaster view from behind gives the illusion that the tracks are as like Jelly and movable..
The best coaster! I have Taken it a thousand times :) Love the first inversion :)
dang now I gotta go to Norway
If you ever go to tusenfryd in norway try spin spider its so much fun and a lot better then speed monster
Intamin is personally my favourite manufacturers, and this right here is one of the reasons why
I love me a good launched coaster, and this one looks like it has some pretty amazing twists based on the on-ride footage. Would be a blast to ride! Now to win the lottery and do a US Theme Park Crawl!
Confession: I have never actually ridden a launched coaster. (The closest I've come is Test Track at Disney's Epcot, which is not a coaster at all.)
But I _have_ ridden the only other coaster in the world with that crazy upside-down loop that opens this one: Fahrenheit at Hersheypark in Pennsylvania. The thing is called the "Norwegian loop", solely because Speed Monster is in Norway.
Fahrenheit leads into its Norwegian loop with a vertical lift/beyond-vertical drop instead of a launch. I'm not sure it entirely works in terms of aesthetic flow, but it's a good, crazy coaster nevertheless.
...Correction: there's a third coaster now with a Norwegian loop, Helix at Gothenburg in Sweden. It opened this spring.
Matt McIrvin I can only base my love of Launched coasters on the Superman Escapes coaster at Movie World, Gold Coast. This is the only launched in Austraila from what I understand.
The park that used to be my home park, Kings Dominion, later became a kind of launched-coaster specialist, but that was really after my time (they did already have one then, an early Schwarzkopf launched shuttle loop called King Kobra, but I wasn't a coaster rider in those days).
And I could have ridden Storm Runner on that trip to Hersheypark, but didn't get around to it.
Jared Morgan there is also jet rescue
Honestly, it still doesnt beat the old Thunder Coaster at Tusenfryd. Sorry but thats my baby, lol. :) I've taken Thunder Coaster every year, and almost every day (more times a day than once) every summer. Adding that up, well I've taken it way too many times. Hope you took Thunder Coaster too while at Tusenfryd :)
I am liking this one. Not a fan of launch coasters but I could handle this.
I don't if someone mentioned it already, but that first loop element looks like the same one on Fahrenheit from Hershey Park, PA :)
those whiplash curves are something else!
Wow cool roller coaster
I love it!
awesome
COOL!
when i was in tusenfryd this was my favorite ride !!!! :D
Awesome ride I'd love to experience it
Cool that you've been to norway. I live there.
That ride is epic btw :D
Same :) love it soooo much
This is my favourite rollercoaster in Norway
evry time im in tusenfryd i take this like 10 times xD i love it
This looks exiting but scary at the same time
Damn This rollercoaster is fast
i love that ride ive been on it 2 times the first time ive been on it the moment before the launch i was thinking: did i do the right choice to sit on it or not? and then it launched after that i loved it
what do you think is the best, helix or speed monster?
Where do you place your camera? Looks like it is long down in the front.
this sure looks fast and fun
Seems fun.
If this ride was at chessington world of adventures it would be called speed shark and it would be at the Park From August 14th 2007 To November 30th 2016
i was on this one 2 times, just legend xD
"OHHHHH yeah!!!! Come on baby!"
Best part
Great! What camera do you use? GoPro?
The ride looks amazing, but I have to say.... I giggled at the first shot of the launch. I guess I'm just so used to Intamin Accelerators having such high top speeds, it looked extra slow and kind of funny.
especially for a ride titled Speed Monster
I was at tusenfryd a few hours ago and I took this!
I remember taking this when I was back in Norway 2 years ago I thought I was gonna die 😂
wow........that was fast!!
Woah
Nice! Honestly, I'd prefer it over TTD or KK any day
2:57 Upside down! Wou!
Yes Norway ❤❤🇳🇴🇳🇴
Good one Intamin!
Hey Rob CAN You Tell me how do you made These awesome Onride Video at the begin of the Video ? I make Onride Videos too and by so fast coasters it's Not easy to make good Videos with a good quality...

I live next to Tusenfryd💞❤️
NORWAY!
Aim have siting on dat ride before so living there
Excellent layout. Just wish it were orange/red.
Because I've seen that loop in Coaster Crazy lol
i wish i can work with these guy. reviewing theme park. my life would be complete.
I don't mind if i die by ride accident.
well, maybe not..
but yeah, lets just put it that way.
surely there was enough energy to have a loop somewhere near the end the speed you hit the brakes at suggests so
"Like" denne kommentaren om du er norsk!
Jeg er norsk :)
Meg å
Egernorsk
hehe, jeg er norsk
Jaujau :p
Plz do more camera angles like that please! It is better than it being inside the seat.
I'm not sure what you mean. We do camera angles like this all the time.
Theme Park Review I think he means nose cam :)
Hey TPR what's the first loop or inversion called ?
O Grimes a Norwegian loop
Do a POV of VURRUCKT plzzz
This thing just bleeds speed.
I live in Norway :D
Try falken or lynet or orkanen in Denmark at faarup sommerland plz
Is this in Oslo..
gosh, how fast is that thing? :o
if you go into a rollercoaster. Means that you agree comeing back never after being in there.lol.
Also the wheels are making strange noizes.
Lol 0:38
NORWAY!
0:58 Did I just see a CORKSCREW in an ACCELERATOR?!
WOW What was that first inversion! :P SO COOL
It's called a norwegian loop
noporian Cᴏᴏʟ!
noporian Or a half barrel roll into a half loop :D
+The1Music2MyEars Actually it's a dive loop into an Immelmann not half barrel into half loop.
I come from Norway and been on that one before...
I kept a straight face the whole ride...
After 10 rides #sofunny
idk why people are saying the inversions on the coaster are "brutal". They look like they're barely intense at all.
I wish I was a part of theme park review but I'm only a kid 😫
Are u friends with Lucy Penny Shop?
It seems like they took a few notes from this
NoLimits: Iron Man the Ride
What's the speed of the launch?
200mph i live in norway beside the park
Panda_PlayzROBLOX 56 mph, not 200
Panda_PlayzROBLOX hahaha No! Silly GP 😂
90 k/pH
can you go the raging bull in Chicago
How do I become less scared of rollercoasters?
Looks like fernir in nl2
Is this the same model of coaster as Stealth at Thorpe Park?
Yea it's the same type :)
It isn't even close to the same.... That one is like a short kinda ka w/o the 270 degree twist
He's not asking "Is the same Rollercoater?" fool. He's asking is it the same type of Rollercoaster.
AiR HawKz Yeah, I know this isn't stealth. I meant as in it is the same kind of rollercoaster, made by the same company
I'm not too sure if it's made by the same company mate, but it is the same type of Rollercoaster :D
Kranplätze müssen verdichtet sein!
That is one squeaky roller coaster!!!
