    Thanks for this walkthrough of Cognito. I'm interested in the backup solution you've talked about.

    great video i was wondering if we can use alb with cognito self hosted ui

    • @cloudonaut
      @cloudonaut  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, that's possible. See cloudonaut.io/how-to-secure-your-devops-tools-with-alb-authentication/ for details.

    Many thanks, you made my day - now I understand Cognito much better!
    Two questions:
    1) regarding user pool export - the same issue is relevant with AWS IAM users, GSuite and others, isn't it?
    2) a little off-topic - is it possible to issue an AWS key for API access for federated AWS IAM users based on Gsuite?

    • @cloudonaut
      @cloudonaut  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      1) Yes, it is. However, the user pool might store all the user information for your customers. But a solid snapshop/backup functionality is missing.
      2) Yes, it is possible to grant federated users access to AWS services.

      1) yes
      2) yes. If you talk about end users, check out Cognito Ideneity Pools. If you talk about ops/devs, check out AWS SSO.

    Might CDK help with the Cloudformation?

    • @cloudonaut
      @cloudonaut  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Why do you think it would help?

    actually, it's very interesting...seems a Cognito has a huge downside.
