Thanks for the video. We’re working with an architect (Houston) and haven’t selected a builder yet. Thanks for this video. Question: who puts up the strings in the ceiling to check the alignment of various building elements? Framers? Someone else?

Typically, the trade performing the work. I.e, lighting is installed by the electrical contractor, so the electrical contractor would have done that. But you will NOT find that in a production build environment, because time is money, and most consider that a waste of time.
A laser will render a similar result, saving time and money.

Why place outlets in baseboards?
