If other countries want our type of democracy, it should be home-grown and not imported by us. Countries like German, France, Japan, Italy, etc. should not require our presence, and should bear more responsibility for any peacekeeping (if necessary) in their part of the world. Further, it only makes sense for China to modernize/expand their military, as at present they would be outclassed by the U.S. in anything other than a land war in China. Finally, the biggest threat to the U.S. is internal rather than external.

When China build up its military, Americans raised alarm that they are not up to any good. But at the sametime, they need talk about their own arsenal which is much more powerful and more numerous than China. That is why they always set their own rules for the rest of the world to obey and they called them the universal rules for the rest of the world !

The aggressive US presence in South China Sea plays a strong role to stimulate Chinese military build up just like banning China from ISS pushed China to build ISS, banning ASML, a Dutch company, selling chip making machine to China now China is building new chip tech that doesn’t need ASML and banning Google to license Android resulted Chinese Harmony OS. So, China should thank US for the fast advancements in multiple fronts and independence.

@@dying_allthetime No the West has female officers now. Absolute chaos if a real war happened. Western men (especially military simps) are super betas these days. They wouldn't stand a chance against an all-male military like China. As Chinese women make babies to create more Chinese. China still understands biology unlike the woke West. Also those Chinese soldiers will fight hard to get a wife since Chinese women are in such short supply and have high standards. Or they will just come take foreign war brides as US female military officers run away from the combat zone and give them warships, military bases, etc.
If only these low IQ Gov employed males who comply with military would understand how stupid they are. And instead of blowing stuff up they could be working and producing value/wealth. And without Gov they wouldn't need a Gov income to get a woman. Because Gov is a woman's husband. So what is there to even fight for anyways? You're telling me the US or UK Gov is better than China? Not really. We are all slaves regardless of where we live because of the Gov soldiers. The real enemy is the Gov itself. All of them. Stop giving them power.

What countries will want Chinese bases on their territory? I can think of Cambodia, Pakistan, maybe Sri Lanka because of debt. Are there any in the Gulf, Africa or the America's maybe Venezula? If those countries agree to Chinese bases I don't think America can do anything. The America bases are in Countries who are allies and have defense treaties. Does China have such treaties or will the bases be entirely to promote Chinese interests?

@@ChenRay-zg1ej I lost my sources, so the information is up to you to consider whether it is credible or not.
Based on my understanding, the term "recognize" is very open to interpretation between the two parties
Did US help China "recover" these islands? Yes, but they are never recognized as sovereign. The response is triggered from US standpoint to prevent soviet union from seizing control of them. (also at that point its republic of China, so ROC, an US ally)
On the other hand, since US and UN recognizes CCP as China that inherit all ROC assets, if resolution 2758 is deemed as the sole and only legal source, then it is considered China's (CCP's)
You can see it is very open to interpretation, and each side will only interpret the terms to their advantage.

The answer is simple. If the US stops encircling China with military bases then China wouldn't advance it's military this fast. The perfect example is to look at Europe where NATO constantly pushing the East and now look at what is the consequences. Don't always view from one side of the story. If China is surrounding the US borders I'm sure the US will do the same or even more aggressively counter the threats.
