Good progress 😀 those U bolts were a PITA for me, I was supplied bolts with two different types of thread.... and of course the U bolt RH side inner is different to the others 😉
I am just about to do precisely this on the 2a I am working on. My thinking was to leave the diff off the axle and only fit it once the axle and springs are bolted up; seems that would make things easier to move around. Do you have any thoughts on that?
Would be initially but a royal pain when fitting the heavy diff back in the axle housing whilst lying on the floor. Wouldn’t recommend it. But if that’s your preferred way then go for it.

Im happy with progress, its coming along very quickly now. U bolts are a bit of a pain to get them lined up to the bottle plate, but all good.
