Shenzi (Faraoland Royal Wedding Cake) practices self-control while a baby bird makes it very difficult to maintain order. Shenzi's almost 1 year old old in this clip and a very good boy for listening so well.
I am so impressed. I grew up with a Basenji, over 40 years ago, and I trained him every single day for the 13 years he lived, and he would never have let that bird live. You and your dog are amazing.
They're smart enough to learn quite quick what it is you want. But they're extremely stubborn and will not always do what you ask them to - unless it suits them at that moment in time. :)
@DecemberWolf107 Yeah... the bird did indeed poo on Shenzi... and on most other things in living room. My computer screen... my pants, the table etc. And I agree - he's very cute and makes us smile every day! It's pretty amazing to have such a beautiful and sweet dog ^^
You did a great job! Shenzi is gorgeous too! very good pup, very good trainer, & adorable bird...he pooped on his shoulder later on, funny...he even got up like "did he just poop on me??...he just pooped on me...ooookay, fun's over" lol
@seibel45 Thanks, and yeah we know each other pretty well by now. But most of all we've never avoided and challenge or difficult situation but rather faced them head on and trusted that Shenzi will listen given patience and time. :)
