I think another hidden good part of vexing bauble is that, since it’s 1 mana, you can lead a on basic which helps protect a sol land from wasteland for getting to 3 mana on turn 2
Wouldn't make a difference. Oracle puts the other Oracle in his hand which puts the last card in his hand. Other Oracle ability checks for devotion equal or greater than cards in deck which is still satisfied even if the Oracle is removed as both would be 0.
53:00 I literally laughed out loud at the outro. This was such a great set of games to showcase how much of a mental game Legacy is. So many clutch decisions and different play options. Great job!
Leagues like this are a good reminder that Phil is normally hamstrung by playing jank, and that he is actually incredibly knowledgeable about legacy and good at magic.
Look at all these haymakers over here many of these will just win the game on their own if they resolve. **Highlights Siminian Spirit Guide** 3 mana 2/2 stompy Survives orcish bowmaster.
I am noticing that since my comment on mismatched lands in mtgo, you've given some attention to matching your lands. Maybe it was some update, but that's very sweet of you. Keep up that good content flowing.
Now that we live in the Frogatogs world I wonder if the sideboard should not have a full playset of Pyroblast? Its a very clean answer to so many things without chalice standing in its way :)
Do you think there's any 1 drops besides Vexing Bauble this deck would want to play since it's not running Chalice or Trinisphere? Lightning Bolt perhaps? Just a thought.
51:30 I wonder if giving them the option to trade with the goblin token letting you take out both DRC is better? You've got murktide in check with hearse, and fury could clean up anything else in another turn or two.
on match 1 game 1, i don't think they punted the game. They needed an answer to your board as double rabble was absolutely the only way to win and just didn't draw into any actual removal, cause had like 24 (maybe even more?!?) power of damage, there was no way your opponent beats you unless they had answers to your board
"Old man can still win games" ..... here I was thinking "the kid still got it!"
I think another hidden good part of vexing bauble is that, since it’s 1 mana, you can lead a on basic which helps protect a sol land from wasteland for getting to 3 mana on turn 2
11:25 why not try to Dead twice the oracle?
Wouldn't make a difference.

He can hide his power level well.
In 11:20 shouldn't have you just cast dead twice? The line you chose loses on board...
That was my thought just now
Yeah, I'm confused as well. Assuming the opp didnt have reanimate or two in the pile, that would have gotten there
26:26 you can just fling Magus for 5 in response to STP. Broadside can activate at instant speed
I love the brew testing & meme decks... but I surely do love watching you wreck face from time to time. \,,,/
1:30 SSG is happy to be called a haymaker
Have you've ever been beaten to the death by a single faerie miscreant with bonesplitter? Scary stuff.
Its like a cool drink on a warm day to see a deck like this
Look at all these haymakers over here many of these will just win the game on their own if they resolve.

Survives orcish bowmaster.
LOL, came to make the exact same comment. Rarely, but not never, the hardcast spirit guide goes the distance!

I've done nothing.
Broadside casually dealing 18 damage in the second game.
O.o
Always makes me happy to see you 5-0. Jank is fun, but man I love seeing you play good decks.

11:22 would it have been better to just Double Dead on the creature killing it since they have on board ability to recast it?
do you think at 11:30 it would've been better to go for double dead to try and kill the thoracle instead of letting them recast it with LED?
Do you think there's any 1 drops besides Vexing Bauble this deck would want to play since it's not running Chalice or Trinisphere? Lightning Bolt perhaps? Just a thought.
I'll have to try this tech in my 3-drop build
True Futurism’s ability, lmao 22:39
Love your work.
Everytime I see the eldrazi deck I think about teferi's response.
In round 1-game 1 I think you know your opponent is on doomsday the second they cast consider.
r1 vs doomsday just casting both dead gones on the oracle plays around them recasting it.
51:30 I wonder if giving them the option to trade with the goblin token letting you take out both DRC is better?
You've got murktide in check with hearse, and fury could clean up anything else in another turn or two.
IMO, my opponent is never blocking that token, so it doesn't really matter.
6:59 If we send 2 and 2 damage doesn't that still guarantee one kill (and potentially get both).

8:26 Isn't Disruptor Flute decent against the Frog? Sure, it's not removal, but seems like a real kick in the ass
So, is Disruptor Flute a legacy card now? Is it even powerful enough to justify spending two mana?
It's a fine option.
Stompy for the winnnn

couldn't we just double dead that games against oracle with a card in he lib?
Game winning haymakers eh? *looks at simian spirit guide*
