The social stealth master is back. Its been a loooong time since I watched something like this. To think about how long youve been going with this theme, amazing
3:37 I really love how you used the fleeing civilians here to reach the crowd on the other side which wouldn't have been possible without the intentionally caused fear
You know I really liked 2:04 being a very quick and flashy execution, but the genius of this gameplay starts at 2:47-4:30 killing 2 guards in view of patrolling guards, escapes in incredible fashion, blends in with the crowd, stalls the patrolling guards when they see the corpses, gives SWStealth time to reach them and assasinate them, continues to the next crowd. The crowd notices the bodies as well as the nearby guard. Smoothly kills the guard on his way, strategically goes to 2 stationary guards, smoke bombs them to kill them and takes an otherwise unreachable guard with a phantom blade to make his job easier later, manages to flee by staying blended in a fleeing crowd (which happens only if a projectile is shot) again manages to distract patrolling guards with the corpses, seperating them, kills the next 2 stationary guards and manages to kill the one patrolling guard who was now alone which attracts the other guard who was investigating and finished him off. The AMOUNT OF DETAIL AND STRATEGY. WTF!!!!!!!!!
The Scarlet Pimpernel is active! (The Scarlet Pimpernel is a character from Emma Orci's books, called by Stan Lee himself the first superhero before Zorro, Superman and Batman. In the story, the Scarlet Pimpernel is the alter ego of English aristocrat Percy Blakeney, pretending to be a pampered slacker. But in reality he is a formidable swordsman and master of disguise who, along with his team, saves French aristocrats from execution during the Age of Terror. In the game Assassins creed: Unity, there is a character named Crimson Rose, based on the Scarlet Pimpernel.)
been seeing lots of Unity gameplays lately. this just shows what AC game the gamers want. but Ubisoft is Ubisoft, said they'll go back to the game's roots and then show us an assassin teleporting to assassinate lol. this game shows no teleportation yet look how immersive and enjoyable the game is. if only Ubisoft focused on this game further, fix the bugs, improve the story, and we'll have a game of the year.
I love seeing stuff like this, 'cause when I play Unity I get instantly detected by random guards two blocks over. It's cathartic that this game can work well sometimes.
Tbh its been awhile since Ive had bullshit detection, but what i always hate is the inconsistency of the guards placement and reactions to what I do. Sometimes if I get detected the entire building knows im there as well, and other times it does nothing, nobody knows im there. As well as guards can detect you through crowds if you are not blended as well as through smoke, if you are just 1mm away from it. Also ive noticed the smoke bombs cover fades away quicker than it does visually, which makes sense, but it makes the game frustrating. So safe to say I also love it when runs of these levels actually work, but behind it there are about 4 attempts at planning the perfect run and doezens of attempts to record the perfect run.
Eventually I learned to embrace the inner barbarian. I saved money and instead of slowly upgrading, just went for full 5000 livre upgraded gear, and a good sword and gun, also upgraded. Then I just got used to the parry mechanic and if I'm spotted and cant be bothered to restart, Assassins Creed turns into Devil May Cry :)
@@swstealth It is really nice that Mirage has fixed that. I loved Unity, I played it on like day 5 of launch? The stealth was a motherfucker, so so difficult. Easy to just stab a guard and move on, but I like only killing my target. Makes the Assassin that more dangerous. Everyone cried but I learn a long time ago, if you want a good ubisoft game. Wait 6 months-1 year for full patched game. The best if their Game of the Year, all problems usually resolved.
Eh not underrated but it was good, you have to remember what it was like at launch, it was so buggy it was almost unplayable, I remember being so upset with it half way through I turned it off and bought ac rogue and played that instead lol
They never react at first as low profile kill is supposed to be swift and silent, nobody sees you getting a hidden blade out(hence hidden) and the idea of a blade in a crowd is to blend well with the crowds so that you are just another NPC who slightly "pushed" the guard for a moment. They only notice after the guard drops dead. Tbh its a good attempt at realism. Mirage and all the other games are pretty meh in this case. I like unity cuz its truly swift in some animations, and in others it doesnt make sense as Arno practically hugs the guard. Just like i didnt like Altair "stumbling" into a guard animation. But at least Unity has variety and a lot of them look like pretty inconspicuous movement. Still...its just a game
Maby this angry mob did kill every nobel in France in last few weeks, but still, killing gourd in that mob may by low profile. Good job Arno. History will by better after that :)
the only unrealistic thing about this is the second a body was found they probly would of tripled louis guard and requested that half of the French military reenforce the gallows
I paltinum'd AC Mirage and honestly I actually enjoyed the game, it was very fun. I just now bought AC Unity on the playstation store for only 8 bucks. They have a Fall sale going on. Gonna be playing it later today on the P5. Cannot wait!
Im glad you enjoyed Mirage, tbh Ive loved it for myself as well. Started a second playthrough of it. Honestly Unity is much much better and you will have a ton of fun, but it will require a bit of tolerance and dedication for you as the stealth in Unity is the most fun when youre being quick and offensive, for which you will also need to parkour effectively, which might cause some headaches. I hope you have fun with it
It Is like an upgrade (I don't know how It Is called in english), that boost your damage for like 3 minutes, there are in Total 6 types, stealth, damage and defense. There are 2 levels of these upgrades, White level, last 1 minute, Golden level, last 3 minutes, you unlock them by buying them with helix points, if you go to any shop, or go near the skills you can buy them
This nicely done, very cool. But the problem i have with these stealth gameplayers, its most of them are not really experts at stealth, they played a certain mission so many times that they know exactly were to move and were the enemies are. Thats like an average student studiying on the answers from a harvard level exam and acing it because he knew the answers. So he knew everything beforehand instead of really having the brains or skills
Well idk, first of all I have adequate equipment with stats which help blend with crowds and stay blended for enough time, I make sure not to press the high profile button as it always takes me out of the blend and I make sure to get the flow of eliminating guards after one another such that even though it is in the wide open, nobody can notice, as those who could have been eliminated.
It Always Sad when Certain Giant Corps forget their Roots & Forget Games that was Hilariously buggy, but got Better over time..While they are doing their New AC games that Appeals some, but not all, I mean just look at Total War Mess & then at Ubisofts..both make EA Games Memes & Mess they do with their games, look like Choir Boys..
