      N2 is a inert gas and non reactive gas, easily available in our marke. So we use generally N2 in many tests.

    Hellow sir, Combusion test tak thik kiya aapne, par aage ki step nhi btayi..??? Muffle furnace me 500°c pe burn krke Combusion boat+sample ka wt krke formula me add bhi krte h .. w4 nhi nikala.

    In formula w³ is residue weight we have get... In which carbon is burn.....then where we get carbon centent? Kindly reply me..

      In standard there is very complicated procedure. So, generally we follow this simple process to find out CBC %.

    In 2530 some other method is given. Please clear my doubt sir , where this procedure is given

      This is the simplest way to test CBC. Standard procedure is so complicated, that's why we use this method.
      When you compare both the formula, you find same results.
