Turning a Lava Lamp upside-down: Mathmos Astro does a Headstand

I wanted to know (for sure) what happens if you turn a lava lamp upside-down, so I took my Mathmos Astro and tried it.

You crush the light bulb with the top of the bottle, that's what 😁
Other than that, the lava would just sink to the bottom (aka top) and everything would look pretty normal.
