Hey, I live in Portland too. I was going to go look at a 1981 Porsche 924 this weekend. Maybe sometime you'd want to take a look at it, I'd love to just sit down and learn some knowledge from you.
hey I have a few questions my dad has a 1979 924 na with the 5 speed it has been sitting for about 17 years and I was wanting to get it back on the road I know price varies depending on the vehicle but we know the gas tank might have a hole in it and the fuel pumps are probably not working and the other basic things I wanted to know a general price of things so I could know what I'm getting myself into I have pretty much every car tool ever created at my disposal and I could do most of the work myself I just wanted some advice from someone who has actually worked on one
ehh my second 924 had a hole in the fuel tank and it was an absolute nightmare. If you have the ability, drop the fuel tank and fix it the correct way. Don't try to half-ass anything with these cars haha
What fuel rail did you use?

Ha that sounds like fun. These 924 projects were so much fun and I love talking about them. Email me or Tweet me some time - twitter.com/egee_irl
Where did you get the fuelrail? Is it for another application?
I got it from a 924 forum but, believe it or not, a fuel rail from a 90's Neon fits (almost) perfectly.
Awesome!!
