DRC, once it stabilizes, if it stabilizes, will become a source of extensive wealth for the world. It already is. They will determine which region, North America, Europe, China or otherwise - becomes the technology powerhouse of the 21st century. They will also provide the energy and land necessary for Africa to keeo up with its food demands. What cannot be changed is that there is no region of Africa with a solid border with the DRC. America can't control its border, and it's got a short, desert, border with mountains through half of it and 1/4 of the world's wealth. DRC could invade Southern Africa if it was a single country, or it could unify Central, West, Southern and Eastern Africa by playing its hand right. Nationalism by the other African countries shouldn't be turned towards the Kongo. Its integral to our century.
