The end of the conversation about immortality through digital consciousness scared the heck out of me. But of course, they have a good point about our brain evolving to still find meaning in different phases of life or whatever. But I also agree that death makes life so valuable. Idk how I feel about this. I guess I won't live to see the day anyway.
Making advancements in medicine to live longer and healthier is wonderful. Take it one step further and understand your power comes from improving yourself spiritually. Scientology works so well that I split my efforts 50 50.
@@otns 😂😂😂
@@otns if I were to convert to a religion it would be Christianity
@@scrubfive9239 Most Scientologists are Christians and you are able to be any faith as Scientology is practiced with people of all faiths. Those who are Christian,Jewish , Muslim, etc. Scientology is an applied religious philosophy. It is something you do to improve your life and the lives of others, it is not something that tells you which g*d to believe in, that is up to you. It has to do with your relation to yourself, others, the universe around you and helps you with whatever religion you practice.
We're probably going to have to merge with technology to become a true interplanetary and intergalactic species anyways, our frail meat bodies already have difficulty just being in space as is due to things like muscle wasting and space madness.
I can listen to Vitalik speak all day.
Imagine if Albert Einstein and Nikola Tesla did a podcast together in the 1930s
You need to do an updated podcast with Vitalik. Lots of things have changed since this interview
Can you please do round 3!! 🙏🙏
Thanks for the donation sir , wish you health and more prosperity , from India .🇮🇳
Agreed. They both did a good job 👏🏻 Theres a Lex / Vitalik highlights video on my channel Let me know what you think of it 🙂
fridman's law: as an online discussion grows longer (regardless of topic or scope), the probability of a comparison involving Elon Musk becomes more likely.
hahahaha
We can do a drinking game:
- mentions Rogan
- mentions Elon
- mentions Hitler
on this channel I recently listened to two of the most amazing and inspiring personalities on the planet, Michael Saylor and Vitalik Buterin.
The Michael saylor one was wild. 4hrs of Michael just going ham. So good
If somebody told me to close my eyes and try to imagine a Russian coder, that mental picture would be pretty damn close to Vitalik! 🤣
😂
If aliens were among us and living on earth…
It will be him. I hope he succeeds.
So, he's the imposter creating a decentralised AGI that will kill all of us?
@@belalnoor9686 haha don’t be so negative I am sure we can coexist like Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Imagine if crypto currencies were some kind of digital alien being that manipulated us into creating them, that's how they reproduce! Satoshi was sent to our planet as a scout, human satoshi doesn't actually exist.
isn't he already succeed in his field tho
at least financially succeed
isn't 1 billion dollars considered as successful?
@@kelvinxg6754 yeah he is if you measure success in money terms but don’t think he cares about money but more the success of the protocol on what they are setting out to achieve.
I almost couldn’t believe it when I saw this podcast in my feed, THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS HAPPEN!! 🤠🕺🥳
whats brand is his watch
We need Vitalik for the 3rd round
Im so glad I am not in a parallel universe where this episode doesn't exist 11:06 lol
This fools on another level 🤣🤣
The two kings of eye contact meet again
😂😂😂😂
As we all laugh staring at our screens 😆
This is fascinating to listen to just for the history of the crypto space in general. Just sort of like a crash course, very informative.
2:43:45 the moment i jumped up of my table, i have never heard Lex speaking russian
I am one of "the dog people" and I love the way Vitalik did with tokens, everyone is targeting big gains etc... Helping people with such sum is big decision and only a big heart can do this.
@@Freja_Solstheim Yeah the 1 subscriber thing kind of gives it away :)
a big heart to take tokens he was entrusted with early on and didnt buy and rug pulling it causing a 50% crash on the asset costing a lot of ppl a lot of money right when it was listed on major exchanges and ppl were expecting it to go up? Sure he donated the money but its like a twisted robinhood quote "steal from the poor to give to the poorer". Not a morally sound decision to say the least.
