Joey, would it be possible to just have some videos just simply watching the fish? You always talk about different behaviors and how they interact. I’d love to just see them doing their thing. I’m always happy to see you of course but didn’t know if other ppl might also be interested in that. Huge fan by the way. Greatly appreciate all you do. You make the world a happier place. Thank you!

I like the contrast between the two tanks. May be the color, but I really like the openness, lighting and fish combo of Tyrese's tank.

You always say that you are not much of a scaper but your tanks look so good. You do easy and simple scapes but they look so natural and I am sure the fish enjoy it.

Both look good. The blue light on the the tank next to the puffer tank makes it look really good lol. That’s a perk. The cichlids are more my style but the puffer scape is very well done.

Take the plants out of the uauru tank and make it a blackwater tank with some (catappa) leaves at the bottom 🙂
Really simple but stunning and natural along with the roots

Getting an eel to slither in-between those braches would be awesome! Rope eel, yellow spiny, or fire track eel. Ooooorrrr a giant swarm of kuhlis.

    Joey,
Loving the updates to the gallery and all the videos you've been posting. Thanks for keeping me entertained during the quarantine. My question is could we see how much aquarium maintenance supplies you have? Like chemicals, foods, meds, filter media, spare parts, etc? I imagine it is quite a collection and I can't remember ever seeing it.

Whoa Nelly! Uaru tank is THE BOMB 💣!!!!
I was so drawn in to visiting the bottom edge of the lake I found myself holding my breath and paddling. 🏊‍♀️
It’s absolutely perfect the way it is with river rocks and roots.
I can’t tell you enough how much I hope you keep it this way!!
Thank you for the enjoyable underwater experience.
Be right back...I have to go find my snorkel and swim fins because I could stay in this tank ALL DAY!!
    😊 🐠

I love, love, love both tanks just like they are. I can't pick a favorite because I love each for totally different reasons. The wood and round stones in the left and the dramatic rock formation in the right.

I really like the tanks, the way they both look is very nice, and the backgrounds are great, pretty dramatic stage actually. Maybe I think the edge goes to the larger fish, because they hold their own in front of that stage. Maybe more tetras to up their impact? I wonder if you can continue to try different plants/tricks to see if you can find some way to keep greenery in there, because I think some green makes that uaru tank.

Great looking tank. If it were mine ide leave the moss and fern out. Also ide take the right rock pile out so it doesnt look so symmetrical and planned along with taking a branch out on the right as well. As far as comparison on the two,i love the contrast with cardinal tetras but have never been sold on those fish. The uaru tank is more my style but if i had the ability to have a gallery i would definitely have a great mixture as you do. Great work man!

I love both tanks but if I had to choose between the two I'd say I prefer the look of the Uaru tank. I don't really know what I like about it so much though. Maybe the Uaru camouflage because it resembles nature more closely. Either way you're great at aquascaping regardless if the fish tear up your plants

Have you still got the Lake Tanganyika fish? You could combine the 2 groups into 1 tank. Different scape. Maybe a sand base covered by many shells for the shell dwellers with the occasional smooth rock making it a biotope to the actual lake

I love those canister filters. I've been using them for many years. In the UK, they go under the name APS. I've had no issues with them. When first set up, they can be a bugger to bleed, but once done they are flawless. I also used the pre-filter with all of them so mechanical filtration was kept away from Biological.
