Keeping my fingers crossed for a pure PvE coop mode. It’s a definite buy for me either way, but I don’t generally dedicate the time needed to be competitive at PvP shooters. Mouse and keyboard shooting skills don’t translate very well to real life and vice versa.
Apparently PvP is going to be very rare in this game, especially if you actively try to avoid it. Unlike in Tarkov where the PvP is the main point of it tbh.
Always interested in seeing games like this, sooner or later I wish I can get into them, I like the realism especially when tactics can be applied and be actually effective
Wow. So glad they fixed the optic placement, the red dots were driving me nuts lol. That scalar works mount on the aimpoint is such a cool touch too. Red dot looks decent, a little large tbh since they're 2 moa and that looks like 4-6 moa but that's just nitpicking. Wouldn't care if they never fixed that, it's probably much easier to game with the way it is now.
You probably already know but the first person mod has finally been released for breakpoint, a bit janky in places but oh my does it add such a massive change to the atmosphere and intensity of the game. Definitely would love to see you playing it with a squad
FYI guys, devs have clearly stated this is primarily a PVE game with chances for PVP. So if your W keyer from tarkov... this may not be for you. I LOVE PVP, but also LOVE PVE, so for me this is a win. IF they get the AI solid, this will be a freaking banger.
Looked exactly like my DD m4 14.5” pinned barrel. Optic looked like Razor HD maybe. Game looks good. Definitely looking for ward to open world and persistent servers. Would be nice to see a home base or base building concepts, dayz and Tarkov mix.
I'm definitely interested. I love Tarkov's unique niche they established for themselves and I hope this game does well and falls in a similar niche. Healthy competition is good for both. But I certainly wanna see more information before making that final decision.
the one thing im really stoked about is the death animations. so many games get it wrong. if you hit someone in the head or chest you just become a sack of potatos. you just fall straight down. everything goes limb, probably hard to animate? idk im not a game dev. but we dont have enough hardcore looter shooters. i remember playing EFT and it was the best time of my life, constant adrenaline, constant moving fast cover to cover and slow when approaching a building so they wont hear you. scared that any second your screen goes black and loose all your gear the same goes for hell let loose. one shot to the chest is enough to instantly kill you. no COD where you just miraculous heal your self. the one thing im really scared of is that most games look WAY to good, and when they come out its a massive flop because investors just want the game out ASAP instead of let the devs do their thing and bring the game out when its done. its a waste of the devs time, they probably been working on this game for YEARS, only to instantly die. look at starfield. no one is happy about it. there is only a few games that managed it to pull it off. cyberpunk became really good, no mans sky and some other games
I have an aimpoint compM5s and I gotta say you are wrong about the aimpoint dots. They are perfect spheres. However, when I am wearing my contacts there is some oblongness and flare because of my astigmatism. When I wear my glasses all of that is gone and I can see the dot the way it is supposed to be seen and it is a perfect 1MOA sphere. I would suggest you go see an optometrist if you are seeing anything other than a sphere.

With the flop of the Day Before, you just can't trust these trailers anymore. But I'm hoping it follows through. Especially with the forest having dense vegetation like shown in the trailer.
Pairs you need to convince these guys to be the first to adopt the ai anticheat. If they made this game the way we all want and had the best anticheat in the industry, I think it would set them apart and their game would absolutely dominate the market of extraction shooters for years, it's all I would be playing.
If it put out in early access... They just need to nail the basics first, even if that means light on content at first. Then slowly build on it once they know everything is going well. IMO
All of these in engine trailers always have heavily scripted and/or VFX’ed stuff. It’s basically a coin toss on release whether this game is groundbreaking, or the next “ambitious FPS that fails to deliver”.

I'd like to see the ADS animation. Games like Ready or Not have this ridiculously slow ADS that's a huge handicap. I'd also like to see them fix the support arm chicken wing.

For some lucky people, if the bullet velocity is high and there is no side to side movement (wobble) and it passes through non-critical parts of the brain, less damage occurs and survival is possible.

@@loaf4008yet here's a comparison Madfinger is a Czech studio composed of experienced devs (which I heard used to work at 2K Czech who released the Mafia games), and for over 10 years have released decent to good games which brought positive feedback despite the microtransactions (btw for this game, they said it will be pay to play, so no microtransactions other than buying the game) FNTastic on the other hand, is literally a cardboard cutout from Russia as they have a history for showing promising or ambitious games, and then run off with the money while shutting down support

No it isn't. People who have been playing Tarkov for the past 5+ years will eat this game up. Tarkov hasn't done seen much progess since I got into the game in 2017. GZ already looks more developed and more put together than EFT. Not only that, but GZ looks far better than Tarkov. I think GZ is going to be a huge success.
it's just gonna be another extraction shooter where nobody else but the W meta twitchy crackhead players are gonna have any fun because those types ruin the actual "tactical" gameplay loop for everybody else.
From the comments I read, pvp is going to be more rare and much more if you actively avoid combat. So it will probably be similar to Sniper Elite 5's invasion system where while you have AI enemies around you also have 1 player to be careful about

Only games I can think of that had the environment reacting to bullets like that was Crisis and Far Cry 2

the CGPC3 and MC50 seem to be CZ produced gear.
The expectations are high. Only one game needs to succeed in this to high level and I feel like the whole genre will change for the better.
They need the best anticheat on the market to protect the game too.
Can't imagine a mobile game dev really bringing this to life. Gonna crash and burn if i had to bet, but would be dope if it worked out.
