    Posting to this video to catch your attention sir. Have you ever tied with upholstery thread? I have found it to be extremely strong when repairing kid and dog toys. Thank you for your videos!

      IMO unless you are tying very large fly's it would add too much bulk. I can see it being used for saltwater and large pike/muskie flys.
