I really appreciate your comment, and thanks for the feedback. There are several reasons for this 1: The match was not being broadcast so didn't watch a single ball. 2. I am still learning about the under-19 batch. And No this is not an excuse but I mean it when I say that I will surely improve. Hopefully, NPL will be a good learning for me in terms of understanding more players and analyzing Nepal cricket a little better.
Batting is much difficult than bowling. An average bowler can bowl defensively against a good batsman and survive. An average batsman makes one mistake against a good bowler and he’s out. If he plays defensively, pressures builds for the team. That is why for teams like Nepal, bowling and fielding look relatively better than batting. To improve batting is to improve technique in all aspects of batting. That takes years of practice and thousands of balls faced even before you reach the U19 level. For that you need cricket academies with good coaches and start early. Which Nepal doesn’t have.
