Scaramouche's introduction literally caught me off guard. I was so surprised that Mona sensed something bad from him and took them away. When the Harbinger title came up, I felt the most intense chill I've ever felt and goosebumps so pronounced, you'd think my skin was grafted from a basketball.
I didn't play during this event and so mine was in the delusion factory. That was too simple an introduction tho..

For us 1.1 players, it's gotta be scaramouche. We were adventuring with Scaramouche, solving problems with him and even exchanging information, he was chill like Chongyun back then. When it was revealed he was a harbinger, it was absolute betrayal. Just the thought if Mona was one second late is terrifying....

It even has epic music to it, meanwhile look at every other one. In Scara's cutscene the text even overlaps with his eyes, its very ugly. The only misstep they made with Dottore is cutting away too early from his intro, and it doesn't match with the music.
The introductions of the Harbingers should be great reveals, and except one all of them are lackluster. I mean Childe's would have been great, but at that point we already know who he was, so its not an introduction anymore

I think I'll go with Dottore and Arlecchino. Dottore's was unexpected and out of nowhere, and Arlecchino's was more because of the hype and the presence she had😆

Dottore obviously was the most dangerous as he had everything going as he plan yet acted so casual. He actually had nahida spooked.
Arlecchino made arrangements to her benefit but it would of been better if it was a cut scene not gonna lie.

Honestly, I still believe that Tartaglia has the best intro. Not only did he seem very friendly and all, but when he transformed into his Foul Legacy transformation, I got chills. Like, is this Childe? And the holy music in the background.

I love how his bossfight makes you realize why he is one of the harbingers. He's nice and happy go lucky at the beginning (obviously his method of working) but when all bets are off he is an absolute unit.

Dottore has easily the best introduction. Kinda disappointed that arlecchino didnt get a cutscene. I know that 1.1 was the first appearance of scaramouche but the officoial one to me is the one in 2.1 . Most of the players have only seen that one anyway

I think Scaramouche was the best. If you were there during the 1.1 event of course.
It was 1.1, and the first story event just dropped, you meet this weird looking guy and you immediately knew(as the player) that he's special and you can't wait to see who he is. He acts super friendly and then the story event reaches its climax, you're with Fischl and Mona then he appears again nonchalantly. Mona took a single look and she noped us the fuck outta there then it's revealed that the Vagrant from Inazuma was in fact the 6th Fatui Harbinger. I still get chills to this day. Not a very bombastic introduction, but it sure as hell had a good build up in comparison to the rest imo.
Yeah cuz i was talking at my screen and asking Mona wtf the problem was. I also loved her reaction and how they made her zap us out while fischl was giving her usual

OR venti got her souls and either guided it to the after life OR is holding on to it… we’ll go to Natlan.. Signora, she works perfectly as the intro to the Fatui and their ideals in many ways. And i was on the edge of my seat most during hers, her deaign alone makes her stand out the most to me so her solo presence is outstanding

the 1st one is for old player, like in the video above.
the second one is for new player, meeting 1st time in inazuma negotiating the gnosis with yae.
Well I don’t count the 2nd time as canon even though it is in the game the true meeting will always be 1.1

So far I think Dottore's is the best, it tells you everything you need to know about him (cunning, resourceful and of course, incredibly dangerous) and even gives you very good insight into his personality and so on. It helps that the archon quest was a banger, like the dialogue and music in his cutscene is so good, and his design is my personal favourite out of all the harbingers so far.
Dottore definitely has the best intro. By then we had already seen all the harbingers in the trailer and reading the "2nd of the 11 fatui harbingers" really nailed home how big of a threat he is.
I love dottore's evilness and childes was just epic espescially seeing him being the eleventh harbinger setting the rest up as even more powerfull
I can never get Signora's scene out of my brain from that day. The way she catwalk so elegant, her mommy voice and gorgeous visual like a queen, I mean I really think she is Cryo Archon that moment ✨

Arlecchino is the best for me. There is just something so cool about her being presented as a calm and collected person while she eloquently twists the arms of both Furina and Neuvillette, milking them for the transgressions they did. It paints her as someone who is very aware and dominatingly strong.

I’m sorry but Tartaglias introduction is still the most epic. I love how his introduction only comes out when he uses foul legacy. It’s such a hype moment that whole fight was sick. Scaramouche comes close though with his completely unexpected reveal.
Between Doctor and Signora for me, we knew the Dottore was around and he would just make an entrance in the most inconveniant moment, but Signora set the tone for the whole group, I still remember some masked diplomats who were talking big, then out of nowhere Signora comes humiliates the one we thought was our strongest ally (I still think he let her win but the impression is still there) and steals the win. She just needed a minute to build the Fatui as a threat

Dottore is someone we have known about for a very long time, and it makes it all the more exciting when the introduction plays. (also who glowed him up)

after the 4.2 archon quest it makes a lot of sense why childe calls his delusion form “foul legacy: devouring deep” because his master (skirk) is the disciple of “Foul” so his delusion form is “Foul’s Legacy” because it is the legacy of his master’s master. and then it’s called “devouring deep” because in the depths of the abyss there is only darkness and it is where the devouring narwhal resides. and he met the narwhal in the abyss as a childe so he uses a replication of it as his attacks. PLUS when you fight the narwhal it’s just like fighting childe. there’s she whale that you dodge and then it turns into a human wielding electro just like childe. Mihoyo is truest amazing. all this story telling and in depth planning since the very beginning. geniuses
I feel like Arlecchino has the best one, cus it’s not just the scene itself, but the whole buildup to it. With Lyney explaining how she helped them survive, to Furina braking her mask and seeming panicked and nervous by her presence, it’s just so well done!

Dottore for sure. Signora and Childe are great and all, but it’s the clear show of force he’s made and the intentionality of the scene’s shooting and the unexpectedness of his interference that really makes it

So I just think they rank by how much value they put into the fatui. Like influence, knowlegde and strength, not just strength like Childe implies...

@deannerodriguez2208 let's not downplay Pulcinella. We don't even know his abilities, looks and mayor doesn't mean he is not strong enough to take 5 place
The ranking isn't only about strength but also wealth and political power. Pulcinella is the mayor of the capital of Snezhnaya so he would have a lot of influence hence ranked higher to someone like Sandrone who's mainly a researcher (from what Childe and Scara told us)@@deannerodriguez2208

Signora was the first we ever met, so she has a bit of grandeur and specialness for that
Scaramouche was out of nowhere and was done pretty well, because out of everyone here he was the one that actually fooled the traveler into believing he was friendly
Tartaglia's transformation was cool so it gets bonus points, but we've already known he was a harbinger since he told us prior so wasn't really as exciting
Dottore's was a masterpiece, and perfectly fits his existence as a mastermind character, probably my favorite of them all
And Arlecchino's is lame, it's literally just a conversation. No grandeur, no big reveal, just a normal talking tone and probably the only reason it was cool was because of the hype she garnered through the teasers
Dottore has the best introduction out of the all.
The signora one is one of the most iconic cutscene in this game so her introduction is the best
I first assumed arrlechino might be rank 10 but she's rank 4. So pierro is the leader, captain is rank 1 and so on. Which makes me question, since rank 6 is already empty now. Was rank 10 also empty? Did a former harbinger leave, and childe wasn't given their position but a lower one due to him being weaker than the former rank 10.
i think the tenth has a connection to Diluc's father (Crepus).
We all know Crepus has a delusion but we don't know where he get that, and his delusion is not ordinary delusion as it controls Dark Flame Chains

Dottores is always the best to me because of the surprise that he was the 2nd rank.
the doctor, easily. the sheer fear that not only the traveler feels but also the player he imposes is unmatched, and the fact that he is the no. 2 harbinger sends chills down your spine, remembering how powerful childe was at number 11, it makes you wonder how powerful he really is and if he is a lot more powerful than he lets on

That's how good she is. The fact that she managed to steal the show without her first appearance being a cutscene, makes it so much more impressive. Sure, I completely agree that if it was a cutscene it would be better, but she didn't need it at all to be one of the highlights of the quest.
Scaras official intro was not Cutscene

You're both right and wrong. But when comparing the Archon Quest one with Arlecchino's, you have to agree that her's is better.

In my opinion Scaramouche had the best entrance. Not just because he got two, but his presence was super cool. Not to mention one of the best stories besides Signora. She bring back good memories.
Arlecchino probably had the worst since she didn’t get a proper cutscene and it didn’t give a villainish vibe
Sigonara and Childe had the best introduction so far. Sigonara with the sudden plot twist and Childe in the middle of too much tension and danger
Believe it or not. Thats what makes her fairly scary. We haven't seen how wicked and corrupted she is because she is hiding that from us. She acted orderly and professional in front of the hydro archon and hydro dragon but even then, her presence made me feel scared for them. I was expecting her to transform into something demonic during the tea.

Arlecchino’s understated intro is the best imo, she doesn’t need to demonstrate her powers to show us how dangerous she is, she commands the room like a badass and has genuine presence enough to put the fear of god or inspire undying loyalty into others. She is unlike the other harbingers who (from their intros and other interactions) feel a little like generic Fairy Tail villains. She’s more like Hisoka from HxH or the Major from Hellsing, or Bradley from FMA brotherhood, immense presence before she’s even demonstrated physical prowess. She is far more complex than Dottore or Wanderer, or even my boi Childe thanks to what we know about the Hearth and her past.
