Just to add some context: Munted is a word we use in NZ, its used to describe something thats broken or destroyed. It became popular here in my home city of Christchurch after our 2010/11 earthquakes. Our Mayor described our city as munted. So if you destroy someone, they are munted. Its not commonly used like, i just munted him, its more, as i said, when something is f**ked or destroyed. Its munted.

It’s been around a lot longer than that in NZ. I lived in Ohakune from 2003-2007 and it was regular slang.

@@kyleh1207 the only thing about that re Maggie being from NZ is that we don’t use it as a ‘doing’ word. So we don’t use munt or munting. Simply just that a thing is munted - damaged or destroyed. So yeah a bit unfortunate for Sooxfar when he said munting 😂 (EDIT: re it being a voice line there would have been ZERO reference to what you meant Kyle - is simply would have been munted and no other variation of the word so it's use as a voice line is innocent enough imo)

Munted means ruined or intoxicated, old New Zealand/Australian saying..... Though if you say "That girl is munted" or "That guy is munted" you are saying they are ugly. Never heard the term "munter" come from an Australians lips and "Munted" has no racial connotations at all sooooo I have no idea why people think it might come from the South African "Munter".

I played Apex (religiously) from beginning to season 3 (then life made me slow down). I've seen people win with two squad mates having 17 kills, the 3rd had 1. I've never seen a double 20k.

i think the generic/most well known meaning of "munted" is "badly damaged/ruined". i've heard it used when people are talking about hunting, like "this corpse is munted" or something like that. another meaning is "under the influence of alcohol or drugs". so if someone is drunk, they are munted.
