You might be “just some random guy from South Carolina in the US” but it’s obvious you put your heart, soul, brain and time into gathering and deciphering the data, then you give an in-depth analysis as you show and articulate the information in a meaningful way that makes sense to us regular folk. You do a much better job than many of the so called experts. You’re also very consistent with your daily presentations, not just reporting when it will make you the most $. You keep it family friendly leading with your faith. That’s why we trust you. Keep up the great work, it is much appreciated. Glad you’re getting some rain, we got blasted with a crazy storm too, 65 mph gusts with about 1/2” rain, not quite an arroyo gusher, but it sure will help, this is our 3rd meaningful rain over the last couple of weeks.

I have lived through 2 cat 5 hurricanes and they are catastrophic. One in 79 and one in 2017. It's night and if you are stuck in a relatively safe place don't move into the night. This can be fatal, stay put till it's over. May God take care of all in this hurricane's path.

No rain today AT ALL like the usual the storms always skip my area. When we need it the most😢
I believe everything the gfs model shows except the intensity. No models or Meteorologist has gotten the intensity right. Hurricane center tends to be conservative. I will watch in real time and take it day by day...in Jamaica

I live on a boat and am currently in Martinique and we were on our way to Grenada before this hurricane stated. I am glad we waited a little. I know we will still get strong storms here. The Grenadines are really small islands the biggest Cariacou is only 12 sq miles. Closest to Grenada. Next in size is Bequai.

Mitch, i am so proud of how well you have pronounced these islands!! Great job! I am praying with you and everyone for all in the path of this storm. Praying for the animals too including strays and wildlife. Hope people have mercy and invite strays in. Glad you have rain. God bless you for all you do. And God have mercy on those who get hit by this storm. I pray it weakens, too. Waiting to see where it winds up here on the mainland. I've seen them get in the gulf ,as a child ,and take a right then a left then go south and come back north. One fiddled around for days. It was something else. I never ask where it will hit until it can be pretty well guessed at. Then there are no garauntees. Praying for no strong tornadoes from this biggun. Praying for our regulars too in general. ❤

Check out the eye wall on that beast 😮 it formed fast! I've been through I think five hurricanes. I always look for how tight and compact the eye wall is.
Remember to warn folks in outer bands that spinup tornados can occur in them. Nice video keep em coming.

Not gonna lie, it’s difficult to hear him talk about the hurricane in such a positive light when I’m directly in the line of fire.
He isn't a dramatic fear monger type person. There are already enough out there. He is praying for you as are the rest of us. You can be sure of that. God is in control.

Before coming on, google the pronunciations of these countries...would definitely help
He has done a good job so far. He is taking time away from his family and works a full time job, does upkeep of his home., and is a deacon at church. If you hear a place he mispronounced just write it out phonetically and he will put it to memory. Some weather guys get all upset if you correct them and call you a hater. But Mitch is humble and teachable. I have helped him many times. He has always been gracious . No need to put him down. I realize you are scared but we are praying for you and it costs nothing to be tactful and kind.
I actually do, but when you have a ton of information flowing to your brain at once, you tend to not retain it.
