Honestly surprised you included the chaos of my shelves. They are where a lot of studying happens, these have since been deconstructed, the vast majority of my books are non-fiction atm but at home is all my brandy sandy The card is a valentines one my mum sent me from the family dog 😂
I never understood the "roasting bookshelves series", because I enjoy to see different bookshelves, too, and why roasting that? Okay, I stopped watching these videos, but mostly the taste of genres or decoration is denounced. So thank you for "nice browsing bookshelves" video! 😍 They are all beautiful and I like that every single one shows the personality of the reader.

More book shelves please!!! We will be moving to a smaller home at some point soon so I've gotten rid of a TON of my books ... but still have a lot! Would love to share as I've been collecting for about 50 years! Prefer praising to roasting for sure.
I organise everything by rainbow colour EXCEPT my bookshelves - can't do it lol. I split into categories (Magic, Supernatural Races, General Fiction, Dystopia, Childhood) then by subgenre - so for magical I will have magical royals, magical carnivals/circuses, magical pirates, magical libraries, magical artwork etc - then by author, by series, then number order. I have a lot of decor pieces with a theme of blue, stars, skulls, fancy notebooks, carved wooden jewellery boxes, bookish items (I have inkwell shaped pots I painted to look like smoky blue glass), and a memorial shelf and a nephew shelf.

I feel like I should have mentioned these are my read shelves, and I have a overfilled shelf of unread books that will slowly fill the spaces as I read them 🙈 I'm still accepting permission for a book buying splurge though 😂

So what you called a dragon coming out of an egg is actually a dino my grandmother made me. I shared a photo in discord . Yes that is also a fidget toy my daughter thinks my shelves are hers too. The green thing is from bobs burgers it is called Kuchi Kopi also my daughters.

i organise my shelves by vibe... then I have an extra bookshelf with non-fiction and YA books because I ran out of room on my main ones :p
by vibe I mean that I have a section of my bookshelf for 'unhinged women' and another one for 'sexy'
