Wagwarn is Jamaican but in the UK we have a heavy influence from Jamaica & Africa. London in particular is very multicultural and it gets passed down/intertwined

You guys were right, “Wagwan” is Jamaican patois. Multicultural London English (MLE - the dialect most UK rappers use and speak) is heavily influenced by a ton of different dialects, Caribbean dialects like Jamaican patois, African dialects like Nigerian, Somali, and others like Punjabi & Arabic, (& so many more) - this is because over the last 50-70 years or so there has been a ton of migration from these countries particularly in urban working class areas in cities like London.

BTW cat just means druggy, junkie here. Nothing else! And wagwan probably originated from jamiaca, he ain't saying we made any of the words he's just letting you know the UK slang that's used here. There's alot of influence from Africa, Jamaica and Arab here, very multicultural so the result is a mix of words from everywhere here. Its why UK rap is a bit more lyrical that other places, generally, because there's so many words to rhyme with, and if you don't get a bar it's probably a different language, or a footballers name/football term (soccer is called football here and its the most popular sport, here and most of europe)
By the way I know america and other people do have far more lyrical rappers, kendrick for example, and I love all US rap and all the og stuff so wasn't hating, its just a little more focused around lyrics than melody here, most people don't get attention in the first place unless they have a good foundation of lyrics, bars etc that snap. We have some melodic rappers but I'd say USA has the best of them, young thug, juice wrld, takeoff, future and all them kind of rappers have the best vibe tunes. We got a few though, M Huncho, baby mane, geeyou, check them out if your interested in UK wavey music. And any of the Mali Wave tunes, the Somalis love vibey songs over here, mad though cause they singing with autotune, but singing bout slicing man up and trapping🤣
