lived a vampire known as Vanitas, hated by his own kind for being born under a blue full moon, as most arise on the night of a crimson one. Afraid and alone, he created the "Book of Vanitas," a cursed grimoire that would one day take his vengeance on all vampires; this is how the story goes at least.
Vanitas no Carte follows Noé, a young man travelling aboard an airship in 19th century Paris with one goal in mind: to find the Book of Vanitas. A sudden vampire attack leads him to meet the enigmatic Vanitas, a doctor who specializes in vampires and, much to Noé's surprise, a completely ordinary human. The mysterious doctor has inherited both the name and the infamous text from the Vanitas of legend, using the grimoire to heal his patients. But behind his kind demeanor lies something a bit more sinister...

@@liptag328 Well. This is spoilers if you hadn't read that far into the manga yet. So basically
Obviously Domi has a crush on Noe, but also, she is jealous of her brother Louis.
The reasoning for her jealousy of Louis, is for a lot of her childhood, she thought that he was better than her in almost every way. But then her brother had to be killed since he became a Curse-Bearer.
But things obviously didn't went well afterwards. Not just that Louis is now dead, she also learnt that their family had already expected him to die, since even if Louis isn't a curse-bearer, he is also her twin (a Twin for Vampires, means that one of them would eventually drain the life force of the other, so Louis was expected to die either way)
But even in death. though Domi still cares about her brother, she is also jealous of him, since for most of their childhood, and even during the current events of Vanita No Carte. Noe seems to be more concerned, and almost pays more attention to anything related to Louis
So Domi is jealous that Noe thinks more of her brother instead of her. So this all culminates into Domi almost committing suicide because of it. But Noe actually cares equally or even more so for Domi, but she doesn't knows that
