This may also be why he doesn't want to get close to anyone or show anyone his memory. Shown by how Vanitas start distancing himself the moment Noe gets too close emotionally. Also why Vanitas even hypnotize himself to kill without question, anyone who tries to peek at his memory. Just hints here and there and my theory. Take it with a grain of salt.

And while this could be taken literally, the fact that Dominique acts out a bit in jealousy shows that it might not just be Vanitas' blood that Noe wants. Of course, his naivety could also be the reason why he may not recognise his feelings for Dominique, but this is something I have yet to see.

Vanitas seems straight, but I wouldn't be surprised if Noe was gay or bi considering how the only two people he seemed to show interest in were/are Louis and Vanitas. Even Dominique (who is canonically bi) could tell Noe wanted Vanitas

@Kelly Durand I don't think I've reached that episode yet, but Noe's naivety is one of the reasons I imagine him having feelings for Vanitas. He reveals to Dominique that he wants Vanitas' blood specifically after Jeanne claims it for herself. And while this could be taken literally, the fact that Dominique acts out a bit in jealousy shows that it might not just be Vanitas' blood that Noe wants. Of course, his naivety could also be the reason why he may not recognise his feelings for Dominique, but this is something I have yet to see.
