One of my work mates was told she was having a girl her whole pregnancy, by the doctors and ultrasound etc. Had the name picked out and all. Then when she gave birth her baby was actually a boy, so the whole name changed! You never know what could happen really, no one saw that one coming!

My girl friends got really big into scrap booking in Highschool so I started carrying a mini glue gun and glue sticks in my back pack. My foster mom found it and asked me why I had that stuff, and I told her why, she almost died laughing. It's not just a southern thing, it's also a Mormon thing. XD Maybe not the whole Hobby Lobby, but we come pretty close! (For clarification, I left the cult for a bunch of reasons, but still have a habit of carrying craft supplies in my bag!)
I collect old paperwork and have seen a pattern of Latin script Japanese commercial monograms from the 1900s and tens. There are right angle brackets around them. I dig for old bottles too, and there are neat scripty monograms on them, Hawaiian whiskeys and a rare South S.F. bay pickle jar I found here.
