I work at a cancer center, and we treat a little girl that loves Jhene. She asked us to play Jhene's music everyday while she lays on the table to gets her radiation treatments. Jhene's voice is so sweet and calming.

As much as her dress is absolutely stunning and expensive looking, the fact that she was barefoot under that made her whole look so much more authentic and grounded and it resonated so well with her music
Just to think that Jhené could’ve done any of her hype songs from all her albums, but she chose to perform songs that uplift, encourage and heal during such a hard time due to this pandemic. That shows how much she loves us, and solidifies her as more than an artist, but a light 🤍🥺✨

I sightly disagree. there is some effect or autotune. Not saying she cant sing, she does sing great but at times her voice sounds weird/robotic like something was added
@@loretohidalgo3533 definitely. In software such as Antares you can pretty much adjust the % of autotune to make it more believable. You can add stuff like vibrato and tone adjustments, too. I agree that Jhene can sing, it's more likely an artistic decision to use a subtle autotune.

I could not survive without my Jhene Aiko. She is the best. This NPR concert saved me. I cried like a baby for almost an hour following the first time I listened to this. I even showed this to my mother and i told her that this woman saved me and in turn her too. By eternal sunshine, I couldn't hold myself together anymore. She held me while I cried and I told her that her life was no longer in the hands of a righteous dreamer but she had a true hero there for her , just a call across the hall away.
I was having alot of anxiety rn but after 14:11 I closed my eyes the rest of the video . I thought about when I was 14 & my dads doctor said he no longer could cure his cancer , we drove home & I got home & cried in his arms we both cried together & with tears rolling down his face he told me to just "remember the good things", Jhene literally spoke to my soul , all the good memories of me & my dad kept flooding my mind after years of just remembering his last few months on earth , I finally have a crystal clear picture of us in complete happiness again. I said it when I was 14 & ill say it now that i'm 20 , Jhene I love you & thank you for healing through your music & voice, Back then I got through severe depression through your music , it used to make me really feel less alone & understood & now with anxiety I feel completely present & grateful here on earth .
I know exactly what that feels like, the pain of losing someone you’ve known your whole life to cancer. I lost mine to brain cancer when I was 16, and I’m 20 rn. and even though it feels like it happened so long ago, it really hasn’t been long. But I keep living for my dad as he would want to keep living; happily with perseverance.

If you are interested, the ancient Tibetan singing bowls (which influenced the creation of sound bowls) are made of various metals which allows the singing bowls to hold a resonance much longer in comparison to the crystal sound bowls. Both are beautiful but the " Tibetan singing bowls" is where there real healing resides. 📡❤

It’s not that people underestimate, we all know she sounds like an angel ✨ she just really does have times where her vocals are not the best LIVE. But I honestly think even to this day it’s the nerves for her ❤️ she’s such a gentle soul and seems shy... Cause when she’s in intimate settings like this or in the studio, she’s flawless and in her mf bag.
Jhene got me through my hardest times in my life. I listened to her while I would sit next to my dad and do his Chemo. My dad didn’t last 6 weeks, but Jhene helped me get through it and let out my emotions. Thank You Jhene for getting through it.

I sightly disagree. there is some effect or autotune. Not saying she cant sing, she does sing great but at times her voice sounds weird/robotic like something was added
@@loretohidalgo3533 definitely. In software such as Antares you can pretty much adjust the % of autotune to make it more believable. You can add stuff like vibrato and tone adjustments, too. I agree that Jhene can sing, it's more likely an artistic decision to use a subtle autotune.

I could not survive without my Jhene Aiko. She is the best. This NPR concert saved me. I cried like a baby for almost an hour following the first time I listened to this. I even showed this to my mother and i told her that this woman saved me and in turn her too. By eternal sunshine, I couldn't hold myself together anymore. She held me while I cried and I told her that her life was no longer in the hands of a righteous dreamer but she had a true hero there for her , just a call across the hall away.
I was having alot of anxiety rn but after 14:11 I closed my eyes the rest of the video . I thought about when I was 14 & my dads doctor said he no longer could cure his cancer , we drove home & I got home & cried in his arms we both cried together & with tears rolling down his face he told me to just "remember the good things", Jhene literally spoke to my soul , all the good memories of me & my dad kept flooding my mind after years of just remembering his last few months on earth , I finally have a crystal clear picture of us in complete happiness again. I said it when I was 14 & ill say it now that i'm 20 , Jhene I love you & thank you for healing through your music & voice, Back then I got through severe depression through your music , it used to make me really feel less alone & understood & now with anxiety I feel completely present & grateful here on earth .
I know exactly what that feels like, the pain of losing someone you’ve known your whole life to cancer. I lost mine to brain cancer when I was 16, and I’m 20 rn. and even though it feels like it happened so long ago, it really hasn’t been long. But I keep living for my dad as he would want to keep living; happily with perseverance.
🥺🥺 you’re so strong, I have so much love and respect for you. Keep fighting, you’re amazing, and your purpose is to inspire others with your gifts and talents. So please, don’t let your gifts go to waste 💗.

If you are interested, the ancient Tibetan singing bowls (which influenced the creation of sound bowls) are made of various metals which allows the singing bowls to hold a resonance much longer in comparison to the crystal sound bowls. Both are beautiful but the " Tibetan singing bowls" is where there real healing resides. 📡❤

Jhene got me through my hardest times in my life. I listened to her while I would sit next to my dad and do his Chemo. My dad didn’t last 6 weeks, but Jhene helped me get through it and let out my emotions. Thank You Jhene for getting through it.
