The genius of Sir Paul McCartney just working in another familiar musical environment , classical music.

I remember watching this performance on television as a teenager in the ‘90s, and having my mind blown. Amazing.

The one portion of this work I just love starts at minute 14:20 where the wordless choir comes in singing. If there were ever a concert put together of wordless choir music, this is one portion should be added to that concert. It is beautiful and majestic!

True, it's not going to win a Pulitzer. But this is surprisingly well-orchestrated. I enjoyed it.

Not for snobs! People who find this garbage find Rimsky Korsakov or Hovaness probably also trash. But why not take it for what it is - pleasant and easy to listen to orchestral music?

What do you think: why rock musicians are not able to write great complex music close to classical? Usually it turns out garbage, but they write good songs. What are they missing? Education? Genius?

Thanks for sharing! If you have a second, I recorded a cover of 'True Colors'. As a fellow music fan, I'd love if you would check it out. It's on my channel. Hope you enjoy. Don't go too tough on me :)
