Happy Thanksgiving my friend! We’re celebrating on Sunday so that everyone can just relax & have the day off on Monday. No turkey for us almost everyone is a vegetarian 😂 I received my bricks did a cold sniff then made samples so I smelled them warming too. Can’t really judge strength & throw based on sample making but it gave me a hint of what they will smell like warming. My least favourite was Candy Apple. Warming the slightly tart green apple was predominant & I’m not a fan of green apple. There is a sweet candy note too - made me think of a green apple jolly rancher. My favourite was Cozy Kitchen. It was nicer on warm than cold. It is oat-y with lots of brown sugar reminded me of a sweetened oat latte from Starbucks. Forever Flannel was lovely warming not masculine at all soothing & soft maybe a bit powdery. Orange Spice was just ok for me but I really liked Holly Jolly. The tree note is there on warming but blended nicely with the spice & cider. That would be tied with FF for 2nd place. Can’t wait to hear what you think on warming. Your hubby was right I smelled a bit of Body Shop Satsuma too warming Orange Spice.

I appreciate hearing your thoughts and descriptions. I didn’t get the bundle but may get two. Cozy Kitchen and possibly the Orange Spice. I think you sold me on that.

Thank you Robin! I couldn’t decide so I got all 5 of them and they are being delivered on Monday. I can’t wait to smell all of them but I’m especially excited to smell Cozy Kitchen.

I know, I’m shocked myself about cozy kitchen being my least fave. It’s got some real mapley tones on warm too and I’m very hit or miss on maple so maybe that’s it.
@@RobynH I like some maple but sometimes it’s too much. Vanilla maple glaze was too much for me
Based on scent notes, I ordered holly jolly cider & cozy kitchen. I remember not loving cozy kitchen from Hygge, but I’m really hoping I changed my tune. Lol
And I can’t handle Wassail wonderland, so I’m hoping that’s not how it reads, to me!
Oh well. I survived 2021 bricks, I can survive just those two. Lol
- my next club processes the 17th, so I plan to put the other 3 in bar form there on the 16th! Great timing for me!

I didn’t find Holly Jolly to be very similar at all to Wassail Wonderland on warm so hopefully you’ll be okay!
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!! I don’t like to get early access because I don’t want to be stuck with bricks but I always trust your judgment because we love a lot of the same scents!!
They’re all pretty good - I’m warming most of them now. Still not sold on Cozy Kitchen, but it is better on warm. The rest I wholeheartedly recommend!

YUMmmm on the Holiday Bricks!!!! I bet HJ Cider and OS and Everything Nice in alternate warmers 😲❤🧡
I bet they would be! OS smells much stronger than HJCider so I’d probably use more of HJ Cider to a little bit of OS/Nice.
I’m excited to try orange spice. Wassel (sp?) wonderland was nice but too “much” so I’m hoping this version is better balanced. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
I think Orange Spice is lovely. Much less spicy and no tree - more widely appealing I think!

Love all the bricks - honestly can’t pick a favorite. Can’t wait to hear your warm review of Cozy Kitchen - that one just comes alive when warmed- at least the Hygge version did. Haven’t tried the bricks yet just smelled them on cold and you are right. Candy Apple a dupe for

Great reviews! I’m loving the orange, but the red is a close second for me. Was also disappointed with Cozy Kitchen - but I think putting some clove and cinnamon with it will help. Thanks for sharing and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!❤️

Thank you my friend! Trying to get this bird thawed - he’s been out for 24 hours but is somehow still frozen inside! About to start making stuffing, and it makes the house smell so good!
@@RobynH Are you making your glazed carrots also? Buns? I remember you made them last year and I was salivating, lol! We got our bricks and our preferences are different from others. Flannel is number one. I haven’t warmed them yet, so that may change. XOXO
@@BeckyScottandDeviHenn I did do the glazed roasted carrots again! Buns we cheated and bought some to keep it simple.
Flannel moved up my rankings on warm - it’s like a cross between Whipped Vanilla Lavender (but stronger) and Polar Bear Hug. Very pretty!

I’m very happy with Just One Bite, had to club it. I thought I didn’t like jacks obsession from last year but I might need to try again. So pleased with the Christmas bricks! The only one I don’t particularly care for on old is the orange one but it is still good , I just don’t like citrus scentsWill try it warm. Cozy kitchen and flannel are my faves on cold.for those like me who don’t like laundry scents, do not fear forever flannel! It is gorgeous and on cold is definitely coconutty. Mine all came uncracked but one did crack as I was messing around with it.
You’re so right, Forever Flannel is not a traditional laundry type scent - it’s gorgeous! I don’t get coconut on warm so much - just powdery cuddly cozy softness!

I agree with everything you say about Cozy Kitchen. I got a bar in a recent sale and was slightly disappointed by an odd note in it. But I think it'll be a great one for mixing and will be getting a brick. Thanks for this review, Robyn.
I think it will be a great mixer - warming it now and the odd note is less apparent on warm but is still there a little bit. But I think mixing it will get rid of that completely.

Hi Robyn. I am so excited to see these bricks! Wow, they sound amazing! Not sure if I will get all 5 but for sure I want to try The Orange Spice and Apple Cider ones!! That's a bummer about the Cozy Kitchen brick. I thought it would be a yummy gourmand scent. Hmm might just put a bar or two in my club to try it. Don't want that big brick if it's not the gourmand scent I was expecting. Forever Flannel sounds lovely too but might just prefer bar size in my club to try it since it's more a bedroom type scent. I am not a BBW Winter Candy Apple fan, not sure what it is that my nose doesn't like, lol, as I love apple and spices fruit scents. So I am on the fence for the Candy Apple one. Definitely worth trying a bar of Cozy Kitchen - smells a lot like Make Me Snickerdoodle on warm except I slightly prefer Make Me Snickerdoodle. Forever Flannel is beautiful on warm! Highly recommend trying it - great year round bedroom scent to my nose!!!💜

So excited about NMBC! I really wish we could purchase the brick separately I would totally order like 5 bricks because Jacks obsession is just that good 😊 im hoping next year we can get Jacks Obsession in pods!!! That would be freaking amazing!!!
I forgot Bring Back My Washer Whiffs is still going on. None of the 3 screamed at me although I would try Shimmer but the price point wasn’t what I was expecting so Im going to hold out and see if they show up in clearance or flash sales
I just finished up Fluffy Fleece in Scentsy Fresh. It was alright but didn’t hold the candle to my beloved Clothesline 😂
I’m so glad they surprised us with NMBC! It’s just not fall without Jacks Obsession at this point, so I’ll be Clubbing it now that I have the chance! 🍏

Well Cozy Kitchen has me worried. I had planned on getting a brick of it along with Holly Jolly and Orange Spice, but now I’m waiting for warm reviews. At the very least, I’ll try a bar through club along with Candy Apple. I’d love to get Forever Flannel, but lavender gives me awful headaches so buzz kill. This was fantastic to watch, and I love like, “I’ll film a video before Thanksgiving.” I legit take that week off to function so well played and admired! LOL I was waiting for my pie crust to chill before assembling the pie so I was like “well I’ve got 2 hours, let’s do this LOL”
Ok I’d skip Forever Flannel if you can’t do lavender. It’s a little like Whipped Vanilla Lavender on warm - nicer, but if you can’t do lavender it’s def lavender.
Cozy kitchen is ok warm but not one I’ll need more of - mapley brown sugar oatyness. The weird spice note goes away on warm which is a bonus!

Jack is definitely going back into my club. I gotta know what kind of pie your baking?! Is Thanksgiving in Canada always a Monday?? I just got my holiday collection bars and bricks today they are almost all really good on cold. Even the few I don't love I won't have an issue warming them. .
I always make the Pioneer Woman Caramel Apple Crumble pie with homemade caramel sauce - so good! 🍏🥧
Yes thanksgiving is always on Monday here - but almost nobody celebrates it on the Monday. We all do our big dinners on Saturday or Sunday and then chill and eat leftovers the rest of the weekend lol! Nobody has time to cook a huge dinner the day before going back to work for the week!

Leftovers are the best part of Thanksgiving dinner in my opinion i enjoy the turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce and mayo better than the turkey at dinner so I tend to eat very little turkey and then I have more room for all the yummy side dishes. I'm like my Nana was tho and I always cook for more people then expected because you never know who's gonna show up last minute. I hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration and that your enjoying your day today.
Happy Thanksgiving Robyn. I ordered 2 bricks and they arrived yesterday. I picked up cozy kitchen and candy apple. I’m melting cozy kitchen in our bedroom and really liked it. Do you have any mix ideas for candy apple? I’m on the fence with that one. My club ships on the 17th so I’m going to throw in forever flannel in my club to try. The other 2 aren’t really my scent preferences, but maybe I’ll throw in my club last minute lol
Candy Apple mixes:
It’s definitely a body care apple so I’m not sure about mixing it with bakery scents - but maybe Cranapple Crumble.
Other ideas: spring florals, maybe Luna, fruity scents like Skinny Dippin, Pineapple Mango, really any fruity scent to reduce super sweet edges and give it a bit of a tarter tone.
I’d lean to fruity or fresh mixes for Candy Apple - even with laundry stuff like Clean Breeze (way more Candy Apple to a tiny bit of Clean Breeze) to make a fruity fresh apple.

Oh good to know - I’ve got Cozy Kitchen in my daughters bedroom and so far so good - but her room holds wax better than any other room in my house. I will test it in the open layout too, thanks for the heads up!

The Orange Spice sounds amazing!!!
I'm very intrigued about the Flannel scent now. I'm not a fan of fluffy fleece in wax. Its way too powdery, musty and old smelling? I'll have to see some warm reviews on it.

I got the 5 bar bundle yesterday and just popped Cozy Kitchen in a few minutes ago. To me it smells like an Instant Oatmeal flavour I had as a kid from Quaker, Maple and Brown Sugar, it is just ok to me , maybe better used as a mixer? I am excited to try the Orange one next as I love that on cold sniff. Thanks for sharing your first impressions. - Tracey
You’re exactly right lol - it’s totally the brown sugar and maple instant oatmeal packet now that it’s been warming for a few hours!
Totally got this when warmed and my husband walked in thinking I was making breakfast 😂 too maple syrupy for me but not a fan for my open concept kitchen/living space

I would agree - the one bar I had of Red Candy Apple was one of the best performing bars I’ve ever had. I hope we see it back one day!
Coconut, oh not again! Welp, I smell things the way you do, so I am sure I would smell it too. I will try some Candy Apple but skip the others.
Do you smell the coconut in Simply Vanilla or Vanilla Cream? It’s similar. I get less of that note on warm - it’s actually more like Whipped Vanilla Lavender on warm, but nicer. Loving it on warm! 💜

So far Cozy Kitchen improved a lot on warm - new rankings are still up in the air but it’s not an automatic 5th place anymore!
I just got my bricks and cozy kitchen was my least favorite as well. I expected it to be my favorite but that’s ok because now I don’t need to throw it in my club 😂

Forever Flannel is a milder version of Fluffy Fleece. ❤
I find it very similar to Whipped Vanilla Lavender!

It didn’t smell much at all like Wassail Wonderland on warm - the tree took a real back seat and it sweetened up a lot - reminded me of hard Christmas candy and cider.

Holly Jolly Cider has a note in it that reminds me of Icicles & Evergreen, which I hate, so if you want my brick you are welcome to it! 😂
Oh nooo!!! I’m not a big Icicles & Evergreen fan either but I don’t smell a similarity - I’m glad I don’t lol! That’s such a bummer, I hate when there’s a random note that ruins a scent for us!
@@RobynHIt took me a while to make the connection. It’s probably not there for most people but when there’s a note you don’t like, it seems stronger than it really is.
