I think the submission preview video for this order was one of my first PSA Collector videos lol. As always love those 90's bball inserts! And that psa 7 Row 1 MJ looks to have the "refractor line" going down his face on the left. That killed it.

I enjoy the content...but our grading strategies couldn't be more different. I typically grade basketball rookie parallels, to BGS; that would typically only grade mint or better. No offense, and this is a fine strategy to make a few bucks, but like at this point, literally every star base card would get a PSA slab, and I just don't feel every card needs to be graded. Like sending in a PSA 7 is just going to jam the system. But again; i always enjoy your videos.

I wish I could spend 30 min to an hour with you reviewing some of my cards and going over putting together my first ever submission; maybe then I wouldn’t feel so confused about where to start and what to grade first. I would actually like to be able to take care of my family by basically doing what you do with cards.
You and I wish for the same about my cards. I have about 20 to 30 Lebron James and 50 to 70 Micheal Jordan. About 10 years ago I purchased a box containing 50 MJ cards. 2 years ago I opened it. They started from the beginning of his career with what I would say all of his rookies cards. I bet the person who sold it to me kicked himself. Before I knew what I had I purchased a few graded cards that are also in the box of 50. Thinking about selling both player cards in bulk for a few dollars because my son is not interested in them. He's not into sports only graphics.

PSA has been very tough on grading lately. I submitted a bunch of Kevin Durant Topps black bordered rookies recently and I was sure they were either 9's or 10's. I had zero 10's, two 9's, three 8.5's and five 8's. All had sharp corners, well centered, and no whiting on the edges. I seen some psa10's selling on EBay that look way worse than mines. I'm thinking about cracking some of them and resubmitting to BGS to hopefully get a 9.5.
I'm with you Dennis, Ive had the same issue with 3 Rodgers & 2 Mahomes. Mine are 2 - 9s for the Mahomes & Rodgers - 9,8,8. My cards - perfectly centered, great corners and did not even have the dimple for the Mahomes cards by his arm. I also have seen worse on Ebay. It's very frustrating to get back cards you think are perfect and better than listed or sold cards on ebay and get lower grades than expected. It seems Matt axcepts what PSA gives him.
I realize you’re a PSA guy obviously, but what about the inconsistency all the sudden? Do you think your cards weren’t graded fairly due to the 9.00 per submission?
Grader must be having a bad day or PSA doing pop control. Nonetheless you’ll be profiting nicely. Overall great submission! I have a sub coming back also, 8 months turnaround for a 20-day 😂

I got a question, I was planning on sending stickers in to psa but their site says only send submissions in card savers . I want to send them in toploaders not to risk damage to stickers. Do they penalize you for doing this? If so how much extra is it?
@@ntrwgames6048 I got some smaller stickers from panini liga, put one in a sleeve and tried to put it in a card saver, stickers in the middle but top quarter of sleeves hanging out of the top. I tried to force it in on a throwaway sticker and caused a little surface damage, stickers aren't firm like cards and crease or damage easily, if I'm sending a few hundred I don't want to risk damaging 10% of them when I could secure them easier in toploaders
I have a card that was graded it came back as a (PSA) GEM MT 10...Now my question is simple, I can't price it..because it the only 1 in the baseball card world that was graded, let alone to be a 10. When went to the PSA certified/verification site, I wanted to see what the card was worth..well I couldn't locate it...do I typed in the Cert #'s and my jaw hit the ground...it simply said, Population 1, Then it said Population W/ Quality 0, then Population Higher 0. So how do I know what kind of price tag o should put on it..? And is it worth anything even tho it's the only GM MT 10 in the PSA registered card world..?? It's a McGwire Card, a home run card at that...please help
Have there been many graded... Like 1986 Eric Davis has a lot graded but only 3 as ten, if it has a lot graded and you have to only ten it’s a lot of money. If there almost none graded it’s probably not worth much

I’d send those Giannis’s,AD’s and a few of the LeBron’s to HGA and get an honest grade. Looks like PSA hosed the PSA collector with those grades. A majority of those looked like 10’s. Edit...I’d send those topps gold and beam team Shaq’s to HGA too. Lol.
PSA 100% is giving out fewer 10s. I've been seeing a lot of people posting grades and I'm seeing a lot of 7s, 8s, 9s, and a whole lot of disappointment. I think it is time for the PSA 9.5.
You’re not missing anything on most of the cards. PSA has cranked their standards to the moon. The new college kid graders DO NOT want to be that new guy/gal giving out too many 10’s.
PSA are a joke atm my group sub just came back and we got 2 PSA 10 out of a 500 card sub. They are doing pop control and its obvious watching all the reveals on youtube atm. Maybe you should call yourself PSA 9 Collector bc your not going to get any 10 again.
I like your channel and content but let's be real! You're disappointed in how many low 10s there are. I know your content is centered around psa so it's not in your favor to say anything bad about them, but they are definitely doing some funny business. At 20 dollars per card with this grading output of very low 10s, it's not a good investment especially with raw cards increasing in value as well.

1990 hoops is still not crazy expensive with some guys like Jordan. Sam Vincent's card from that set is over 1k as a psa 10.

I feel the same way, they aren't giving out 10s like they used to and seem to be finding very small imperfections as reasons to give 9s.
They’re not stupid, seeing the prices their slabs put up. Bias is what is keeping my PC Cards from being slabbed
