- A young unnamed defendant stands in the dock accused of murder. He has fired his barrister and is now representing himself. It seems to be an open and shut case. But is it? The defendant starts to tell us a story. A love story where he falls in love with a girl named Kira. Their love story shatters when she disappears. His search for her ends up embroiling him in London’s underworld.

I had to cry in the last scene. It is definitely the best show on Netflix. The main actor is sooo good.

Great show. Very intense and unpredictable. Its all about the characters and every character has a story. It was like a mix between drama and thriller. The ending had a really nice twist too. Highly recommend 5/5

Watch The Outside Story. After accidentally locking himself out of his apartment, Brian Tyree Henry gets into shenanigans with his neighbors and reflects on his life after a recent break-up. It's half comedy, half drama, but it's very positive.
Totally agree how about a black stranger things? A black vampire diaries? Just anything that’s usually for a white character input a black one.

@Ricardo Ahh okay. What I'm talking about is a movie. But if you're looking for a Riverdale-ish TV show with black leads, Bel Air comes close to that. It's a serious (but not too serious) retelling of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air that airs on Peacock. It offers a pretty interesting spin on the original and has some great actors involved.
If you want something with more humor I'd recommend Atlanta. It stars Donald Glover and Brian Tyree Henry as they rise through the Atlanta rap scene and encounter a bunch of awkward and hilarious scenarios along the way. It just finished its 3rd season so there's plenty of episodes to watch if you haven't seen it yet.
After watching this show, i can tell you that this is one of the greatest LOVE story ever... when you really think about it.... everything is sum up to this one question.... DO YOU LOVE HER? and rooted from that question followed everything that occurred in this movie... BRILLIANT.. this is bigger than a drama, thriller.. it is undoubtedly and cleverly a TRUE LOVE STORY. Love it!!!
The twists and turns in this drama series makes you wanna experience love like this. Great cast and well directed series, quite intriguing and keeps you glued to the screen. In fact the twist and turns just make you want more and more. Looking forward to Season II and beyond.

I just finished watching this. This was good. I recommend it. It appears there will be more episodes in the future, but this is definitely worth a watch. Great plot twist. On a side note, the main character looks like former NBA player Mario Chalmers. Lol.

Just finished watching this. It was excellent. I found myself hoping he had not been the one who killed Jamil and that he would be able to show the jury that although hed done some questionnable things, he was not a murderer. the jury that ethe truth as he explained away the evidence that pointed to him as Jamil's killer. Excellent acting by the entire cast too.

This reminds me of Quicksand, the Swedish show. It was a great show, but I got stressed out watching it. I think this will be one of those non-binge watches for me. (Netflix, not all shows are good to binge watch! This is either for engagement’s sake, or because they’re stressful! It’s ok to take time to finish things!)

This is so true. I couldn't binge on it either, so intense and I couldn't help but get upset over how easily your life could turn upside down just because you loved somebody. It's tragic. I don't think anyone is worth losing and ruining your life over.

Great acting but inaccurate when it came to the trial. Who knew you could basically give a WHOLE testimony and confession in a closing statement?? You would think the trial was just starting instead of ending. xD
