    Great interview! Spider seems to be so humble and friendly. And the last two albums Pogues did were way better than Spider wants to admit in this interview, I loved them!

    I like Spider. He was always telling me about Chainsaws in the Dev. He liked a brandy in the morning.

    im curious as to why one of the albums covers was a picture of the raft of the medusa, by gericoult. is it because it represents chaos ?

    I'd have asked him about bashing a beer tray over his head for 3 years on stage. There's video. Which I witnessed on the 29th July 1985 at Oakengates Town Hall....hell of a night!!!

    Ballad of Jesse James was always my favourite. Even though its a trad folksong and not a Pouges Original. Or maybe Bottle of smoke or the other Horserace song lol
