You're a good human Truant. Sorry about your mom. My mom was just diagnosed with cancer 5 days ago, too early in our journey to see where it ends. Music already means a lot to me, and now more than ever. I'm having a pint tonight in honor of your mom, my mom, all moms, Tom and so many touched by cancer. Might even have a 2nd pint. Take care.

my father was diagnosed lungs cancer on december. now, after all the cures, he only has from 1 to 2 years of living. stay united, stay together, show all the love you have for her. i would talk about this for hours, but all i can say is good luck. have a great day jim, and your mom of course.

Sorry to hear about this. Sorry to everyone. My father died on the 8th of August after 10 months with cancer aged 59. Fucking sucks but gotta just grind through it and keep moving forward.

For me the vocals put this song over the top. How Sam uses all Kinds of screams and clean singing is amazing and it Matches the emotions so well. You can also see it on current live Videos, Sam is pushing so hard to be the best vocalist he can be for the sake of Tom. How this band is pulling through is truly Special.

When Sam sings 'there's no stars left in the sky' its like a punch in the gut, so damn powerful. Really beautiful song and the video couldn't have been better.

Haven't heard a lot of Architects, but the passion really shows in this song through the instruments and the vocals. And the story behind it makes it even stronger. I hope they are able to carry this passion and continue making great songs like this one!

I assume that's Dan, Tom's twin brother in the video. Takes away the sting for a second to see him on film. RIP Tom, you will live forever.

The fact that Dan was playing his brother in this video, was arguably one of the bravest and strongest performances of anyone in any kind of performance. The man is an awful lot stronger than anyone has ever expected and I'm proud to see the boys carry on. Architects will never let Tom's memory die.

spencerbrady231 Not really,there was the song C.A.N.C.E.R that hinted at something,but no one ever talked about Tom battling through it .You could feel that something was wrong when they started canceling concerts,but no one knew why for sure. RIP Tom,an absolute legend.

I'm currently fighting a similar fight that Tom fought, I have accepted that I will never achieve my dream, but I am so happy that Tom not only achieved it, but lives it, and I feel like he was blessed to truly live.

My heart weeps for both Architects and you Truant...I'm dealing with this myself, as my nana has cancer...it's been really difficult...but getting lost in music keeps me strong, and keeps me hopeful that she may pull through...now in that regard, I have a song you should listen to, Delusion by Novelists is an awesome song I'd really love to see you react to it.

the song is basically Tom's goodbye letter/acceptance of his coming passing. It's a beautiful and powerful leaving gift he left us all. Was his final video I believe too. They close each set with it in his honour - For Tom/Forever.
I cried during the video now during the reaction, such an emotional video, hit me right in the feels man.
This song made me cry like a baby man. You can feel the emotion and pain, but also release. Absolutely stunning track and wow I miss Tom so much. R.I.P my dude.

My reaction was exactly the same as yours when hearing this for the first time. Architects are one of my favourite bands, saw them last week at Leeds festival and they kicked ass. For them to pick themselves back up after losing Tom just shows how incredible they really are. This is one of their best songs in my opinion. "they say the good die young" in the chorus is defo a reference to Tom and the incredible songs he wrote. Some of the most powerful lyrics I've heard are by architects

Some of my favorite tracks from them are; Dew, Fluffy, Waterslide, Perfect Pillow....honestly there are too many to name, 90% of their music is fucking class.
It's so perfect in every way. The music is the best I've ever heard from them, and the video production, and the message in the video... Really hits me so hard.
Architects have been my favourite band since I was 14 and I'm now 21, it's wonderful to see how much they've grown. The death of Tom completely broke the hearts of everyone in the fanbase, because no one really knew he was suffering and it was so unexpected. I remember seeing it on Instagram and my heart just broke. They are such genuine, kind guys when I've met them and they've always had time for fans, and they honestly are one of the greatest bands in metal, and I can't even imagine how hard it is, especially for Dan who's lost his identical twin brother. It's bittersweet to see them take the sadness and pain they've felt after Tom's death and turn it into a beautiful, passionate and heartfelt song. RIP Tom 🖤

I just discovered your channel tonight. I watched the “All our gods have abandoned us” play through as well as this “doomsday”. I just want to say I appreciate you giving a listen and I love that you appreciate Architects as well. As you know, they are amazing humans as well as artists. I have seen them live in Seattle 3 times and every time I had the pleasure of speaking with them after the show. Only once I was able to speak with Tom (the creator of the band). Their story is heartbreaking but I’m so glad they are able to carry on with a positive message that can be heard and felt by the entire world. This video came across my FB feed today and I had the same reaction as you. All I can say is wow, over and over again. Great message in the song and everything is perfectly tight and in harmony.
By far one of my favourite songs by Architects was "All Love Is Lost". It guided me through hard times and to hear that Tom died ... well that got to me personally. I might not have known him in person but.. without him my life would have been much much harder. He saved me man. Architects saved me. Thats bullshit man. Fuck this

I'd love to see you react to some old songs.. For example Stay Young Forever, Devil's Island, ... so many good old ones! The passion that is within this band is unexplainable, and to see them carry on after such a loss from Tom, my love and respect for these guys got even bigger. Been following them since Hollow Crown in 2009, they have been killing it ever since. Happy to see you getting (back) into them.
Cancer is terrible. My mom and dad are survivers but my grandparents lost their lives to that terrible disease. This band will always hold a place in my heart and give me goosebumps every time I hear their songs. Thanks for this dude!

I really get the sense that this was an homage to Tom by the band. With the use of Dan to sort of symbolize someone suddenly gaining enlightenment. The lyrics as well really show what the thoughts of the guys are with regards to the sentiment. Gave me serious goosebumps.
